based

I once watched some old show about mongols. It was comfy. Comfy and very fake and very PC It was commissioned by some UN organization of course.

Now there are reality travel shows. It's fun, and you see the host interact with real everyday mongols

But I miss the old educational propaganda shows

probably the most hilarious sounding type of music

The show I saw also introduced how they made this horse head violin.
Horse head is important because mongols loved horses

SOUL OF THE MONGOLIAN HORSEMAN (THE) 52'
SYNOPSIS
In the Mongolian steppes, a family of horse herders welcomes four city children for several months.

They have come to learn the Morin Khuur, an ancestral fiddle, and the untamed nature of the plains are a great source of inspiration. Omba, a wise old musician, teaches them this magical instrument, said to have healing powers.

Back in their hometown, the children will continue playing the horse head fiddle, assuring the continuation of a great oral custom.

The whistle stuff is pretty rad

Yeah I cant even fathom how the fuck he's making that whistling sound. You are right though that sounds awesome in this video, imagine hearing that noise coming from a human irl, would be wicked. Yas Forums had a good throat singing album recommended on it and I probably listened to it at least 100 times, it had a real nice melody to it, kind of melancholic, and I've always wished I could find it again but it all sounds so similar that I've had no luck. Anyway it sounds similar to my pathetic attempt to do a texas accent so I always chuckle a bit when I hear it, probably just for me really
