Roommate says we can watch a scary movie tonight

>roommate says we can watch a scary movie tonight
>we can even turn the lights off
>doesn't even bother closing his lap top
>"not into it?"
>"Nah, its okay so far"
>"did you see that!?"
>"no..."
>He comes up with a theory near the end
>"That doesn't make sense because the mom saw the killer already, remember?"
>"Nope!"

am i retarded if i can't tell what this means?

he obviously just wanted to spend some time with you man, don't take it to heart. He's probably not big into movies or something but knows you enjoy them.

yes
i'm sorry user

Are some roommates actually clingy weirdos like OP?

i just imagined the movie ending, and you just immediately getting up going into your room and making this thread and now you're just sitting there pressing F5 while your roommate is making a post on /adv/ asking them if you're mad at him because you just suddenly left after the movie.

Hes actually more the cinephile, this is one of like 4 times I chose the movie. I think he was doing it more out of obligation since he spends most of the time in the living room watching movies / tv / playing video games and I stay in my room, so he feels like he has to say yes anytime I want to use the living room.

I don't think he realized the point was that I wanted to spend time with him.

No, I get you. His syntax isn't very clear, I think he's describing the first cock that entered him.

you both sound really gay

He's more of a redditor. But yeah I got up immediately, he didn't look up from his laptop so it just didn't make sense to just sit there in the dark, especially since he admitted to not paying enough attention to talk about it.

If you can't read that without thinking about gay sex then that says more about you than it does about me.

since when is having friends gay?

No. OP's just a frogposter who can't communicate clearly. He's mad that his roommate wasn't paying attention to the movie

do people really sit around and talk about a movie when it's over?

nigga just chill, prolly just wasn't that interested in the movie have him pick the movie next time.

Not mad. Just sad.

Some people just see gayness wherever they go.

It's a thing friends do, you wouldn't understand.

depends on the kind of movie you just watched

I have only picked the movie 4 times out of the last 10 years. You can't just say he wasn't into the movie, he didn't even close his laptop, that isn't giving a movie a chance.

People are allowed to be disappointed user.

Wtf is this a blog post on a Canadian snail racing forum

what movie?

It's a little unclear but your reading comprehension should be good enough to figure out where each quote comes from.

What about the lights thing? Does he normally keep you from turning them off when you watch a movie?

The Poughkeepsie tapes.

It's not that having friends is gay it's coming here and blogging about it and giving it this much thought after the fact. Super gay

Do people really have roommates for a decade that they aren't even good friends with? Holy shit

Yeah, he likes to roll joints while watching movies and it can take him the entire length of a movie to do it, he is very particular about it. we've legit had movies end and hes still trying to roll it. He doesn't dilly dally either, like he will be focused on it the whole time. I find it endearing often times but when I want the lights off it can be frustrating, we've only seen about 3 movies with the lights off, and one of those times it was only in the last act. When it's not his joint hes usually eating something and wants more light unfortunately.

I don't mind it so much but I really enjoy being in the dark during a movie.

To be fair user that movie kinda sucks

stop jerking off to it.

This is what you came up with ? Weak

I wouldn't mind if that was what he thought but he didn't even try, he was on his laptop before the movie even started. And if its the case its fine to say that when i asked if he isn't into it, I Can go watch in my room, its much more comfy then someone typing away during dramatic moments and making jokes about the killings.

My friends like to keep the lights on too, I don't like it.

You really really sound like an angry girlfriend talking about her boyfriend on reddit

I never said we aren't good friends, he was just on a laptop during the movie.

It is very upsetting.

If hes a good friend why are you stressed out over nothing.

You clearly dont understand what autism is.

Whenever I watch kino with others if it is at someone elses place the lights are usually on, at my place I turn them off.

It's possible that he has other things on his mind tonight and can't focus

People only pay attention to things that interest them at surface level. I've tried suggesting music or movies to my friends several times and realized these suggestions would get blatantly ignored or barely given half a chance before dismissing it. I've given up on trying to show things to people, despite knowing more music/movies than people. I'm guilty of this too but I at least give things a fighting chance, I'll give up at least halfway through if I don't like it. Also, my experience with chronic stoners is they always have poor taste and an awful attention span. You're better off doing the things you like by yourself and letting him enjoy whatever.
