The midnight gospel

So my partner and I just finished the third episode of this show... and I'm honestly speechless. Pendleton Ward and Duncan Trussell have created something that has taken animation and I'd argue storytelling itself, into a new dimension. By combining interviews on philosophy, religion, psychadellics and modern culture, with some of the most beautiful animation ever done for a web series, they've ended up creating the perfect show to watch while quarantined and pondering the future of our society. I could not possibly recommend it higher!
(Btw, the trailer is much MUCH more intense than the show itself - which is an odd mix of relaxing, macabre and enlightening)

Can't remember what # episode it was, but the one with Damien Echols was very interesting, wish I'd heard it 10 years ago..there's a lot of philosophical discussion of death that made me smile..I've had a rough few years with almost everyone I ever loved leaving this world, and I heard some things that I didn't know I needed to hear spoken aloud by cartoons

I've always thought it was meant to refer to someone you're in a long term serious relationship with, it's more mature than saying 'boyfriend' in a professional environment. Fags likely use it more often because it helps people perceive their relationships as more mature, it's also gender neutral which helps for trannies.
