Say what you want, but those sisters have heroic levels of plot armor.

>in the end they're all fine and the gang gets fucked, no lessons learned except that Ahsoka is right and Jedi rules apply everywhere in equal measure

The only way this makes sense is if the mob boss alien was actually working for the Republic and was intentionally fucking up his own operation by making the stupidest choices imaginable. I really don't understand how the rest of the season can be so kino but this plays out like a fucking DuckTales episode.
