Nah. The message is generally hopeful. Some of the guests are clearly up their own ass but it's still interesting to listen to what they believe. You can tell when the host is just humoring them though.

Okay, well, I'm sure hospitals are buying up Krokadil for cancer patients and shit lol. I quit the 2nd episode where we have a scene where the two of them ad lib a scene in a bathroom. That's it. I couldn't cope with a podcast that has nothing interesting, performed by people who sound like they're doing a podcast, with a group of people who aren't actors voicing designs that don't fit their characters, let alone actually have any quality to it.

What the fuck is this animation style? Where it's like all perfect shapes, like someone drew their character designs with fucking stencils? Similar to Adventure Time, with the "PERFECT, *CLEAN* SHAPES" and noodle arms and tiny eyes like one of those comic-drawing vlogs on youtube.

Any time I see that art style it's an immediate pass. Let's say you're a writer. You've gone through all this effort to put together an incredible story that spans 2-4 seasons, with likable characters and plot twists and ambiguity and fun and it's a creative masterpiece. You then proceed to put your story on the shoulders on a copy & paste art style that demonstrates no depth in any meaning of the word and conveys an amateur's effort into animation.
If that doesn't make any sense to you then be proud of yourself. It doesn't make sense. Anyone with a sense of self respect would push for a better art style. About the only show that gets a pass with it is Spongebob.

Adventure Time was a rare breed in that they were allowed to animate episodes before they pitched the episodes to CN. Usually you gotta write a script, draw a story board, pitch the story board for each episode. But Adventure time got to skip some steps and go straight into animation. That's why they got a more free flowing style vs the more ridgid cal-arts style/flash animation you see nowadays. A lot of it is influenced by traditional animators like the Fleischer Studios

the art style doesn't really have anything to do with the show, it's just to accompany the vocals similar to a music video.
