Game of Thrones

I don't care if some of it was stupid. I still enjoyed it.

>south park episode sings about it having a bunch of weiners
>don't remember seeing any
>watch it again to see if I can find any
Am i gay now?

I enjoyed post season 4 only because of Yas Forums

Thats around the time south park went to absolute shit, the whole continuing story arcs and whatnot

>some
Try half

Last season was rough around the edges for sure but I thought all the big moments were kino. Book autists and Dany stans just couldnt handle their headcanons being shut down

you can see theon's flaccid dick in s01e05 when he fucks ros. south park joke was on point since how can you fuck a whore with a limp dick?

Same.

people are still in denial tho
>d-dany's not going mad in the books, there is no foreshadowing!!
meanwhile the same fags write theories about how mance is arthur dayne etc and claim text supports that

That Gif is driving me mad. JUST EAT THE FUCKING SAUSAGE

You now remember burlington bar women clicking

dany going *mad* has already happened. she snaps during the pitfight in mereen after having to surrender to the demands of the slavers . she, the slave liberator jesus, takes a slaver's whip and beats her own dragon into submission in front of everyone. later when she shits in the dothraki sea, she still has the slaver's whip. dany going nuclear is already set up. I don't get retards and their stupid headcanons

dany soiling herself is the best scene in all of ASOIAF

>hold the door episode
>Bran is shown to have the ability to manipulate
events in the past hold the door episode
>introduce a time paradox
>none of this shit matters in the upcoming episodes and seasons
What were they thinking bringing in time travel to this universe? Not only was it stupid, Bran’s powers are never acknowledged in the show at all

>can see past and present events and some glimpses of the future
>needs a master of whisperers

according to the D-men themselves, hodor reveal was one of the cooler things GRRM spoiled to them about future books so they decided to adapt it. there was one other "cool" moment from the future books they adapted for season 6 but I don't know which one. in dabid's words other than those two scenes, everything else in season 6 was their own idea, including cersei blowing up the sept.

It was always incredibly obvious after the end of book 5 that mad Dany would happen. The ending of the show only confirms it.

George really is a hack, there are hints of Bran’s time powers in ADWD

I don't care if you enjoyed it.

(you) care enough to post it

there was three "holy shit" moments thats coming in the books. holding the hodor, stannis burning his daughter and one more im not sure has been revealed

could the third one be the wall falling? there aren't really any wtf moments in later seasons

GRRM never said that Stannis would burn his daughter, jsut that she would be burned at some point.

>stannis burning his daughter

In the books Stannis is 2000 km from his daughter and it's unlikely he'll ever meet her. Also he explicitly said to his captains that if anything happens to him they should do their best to protect Shireen and seat her on the throne.

If anything, it'll be Selyse who burns her, against Stannis' wishes.

Stannis in the books loves his daughter above everything and doesn't buy into Melisandre's religion, wielding it as a tool.

probably that the elves created the others, as if anyone gives a shit

His arc would be pretty weak if he isn't the one who is pushed into burning her.
>"I know the cost! Last night, gazing into that hearth, I saw things in the flames as well. I saw a king, a crown of fire on his brows, burning . . . burning, Davos. His own crown consumed his flesh and turned him into ash. Do you think I need Melisandre to tell me what that means? Or you?"
>"I never asked for this crown. Gold is cold and heavy on the head, but so long as I am the king, I have a duty . . . If I must sacrifice one child to the flames to save a million from the dark . . . Sacrifice . . . is never easy, Davos. Or it is no true sacrifice."
The good part of him being the one who'll burn her is that means he'll rek the Boltons.

I noticed the early signs of its stagnation in Season 2. You could tell the moment they stopped caring about magic's mystique with the House of the Undying.

>Stannis in the books loves his daughter above everything
Which is the point. AA loved his wife. That love is what made her sacrifice potent enough to forge a weapon against the others.

reddit theories puts it down to daenerys burning the city, jon killing her, bran being the big bad or revealing his intentions. the latter two seems more likely considering the first two are laughably predictable

>Stannis in the books loves his daughter above everything
um, no? you are confusing show and book here. book stannis has 0 scenes with shireen and shows no signs of affection towards her. he is not the one to burn her but what you say about him loving her above all is just false.

Bookfag here. I noticed the signs were really starting to show in S2. I could forgive them for some stuff in S1 because it was a NEAR perfect adaptation and could see why they would want to save Tower of Joy later down the line but ditching Jeyne Westerling for Talisa is where I saw the cracks starting to fade. What other stuff did they cut? I heard Manderly is in it but they give his pie scene to Arya instead?

Stannis isn't a font of human warmth, but he clearly does love her and holds her in high regard. Unlike the show, book Stannis never tried for a male heir. Selyse popped out a daughter and he went "that's quite enough, thank you", even after she was scarred. He drills into his men to keep fighting for Shireen with their lives if he ever falls in battle. She gets an education alongside of the boys, which is unusual for a girl and probably means that Stannis is grooming her for kingship instead of being ready to delegate that job to her future husband. The first human burning Stannis took part in was that of a guy who wanted Shireen married to Tommen, up until that point Stannis demurred on the whole execution by fire thing, but the proposition of marrying his little girl to an incest abomination enraged him enough to change his stance on the issue. We didn't get any fatherly scenes from him, but there's not much room for interpretation. The man loves his daughter.
