It wasn't it was good but there wasn't enough of it, and it was too scripted. It had to live up to the 2 remake. if there was the park, the hospital, and needing to go back and forth between everything I think it would have been fantastic.

Ironically RE4 is actually better at slow burn tension building scares than the classic RE games which do actually rely on cheap jump scares, usually some monster jumping through a window.

Zero and Code Veronica are trash. RE4 is a completely different genre than earlier games but it's one of the best in the series
