I haven't seen any, but I sure felt it. Then I moved on with my life.

I'm 24 but I had my worst existential crisis when I was about to hit 23.
It's when you know you're childhood is seriously behind you and even your teen years were years ago.

I felt more anxious about turning 22 than 30.

it actually rules because you realize there is no good ending and you should just do what you want

>be me
>hit 30 years old
>feel the exact same

I’m 30 and life as never been better. Early 20s were far worse.

>seeing a new girl
>fizzles out after a few months
>talking to sister in law later
>mention that hannah sucks
>sister in law asks "what did she do?"
>say she turned 30

I was way more anxious at 22 than 29, but way more social back then too

Feel like I’m going to slip into the abyss soon enough

Nah it’s because nobody likes your when you’re 23

>tfw unironically turning 32 this year

I am 41, so I am way past that shit.

I'll give you some words of comfort: that horrible, cold feeling in your belly? It never truly goes away, but you get used to it.

Guys, I'm about to turn 22.
I don't like this.

>20 somethings crying because they already feel old

How did western civilization get this weak?

Just turned 27. The realization that I’m know an old cunt is heavy.

>turning 32 next month

i don't care fuck you zoomers stop saying you're 90s kids when you were babies in the 90s

I never experienced this
>21
>working 2 jobs
>barely getting by
>in debt and missing just 1 paycheck meant I wouldn't eat for a month
>gf cheats on me and I was still too naive to realize they're all whores
>depressed and drinking too much
>few friends but most people only seem to hangout with me because they want something
>terrible relationship with parents

>30
>6 figure income
>life is on cruise, no real worries or debts
>about to buy a house
>completely sober
>no gf, just fuck random 20 somethings using them like the worthless holes women are
>2 really good friends who genuinely just like hanging out with me and doing shit together
>relationship with parents is 100x better, and they treat me like a person instead of trying to dictate my life now that they realize they'll depend on me soon enough

Life has only gotten better. Turning 30 last month felt great.

30-year-old here.

Twenties are bullshit. Teen years were unimpirtant as hell and if you're missing them, kill yourself.

I'm earning real money, I know what I want, and I don't have to pretend to try and "fit in" anymore, because I don't fucking care.

Twenties are bullshit.

30 was fucking awesome.
Wait... is this thread for bitter incels who are solely responsible for their miserable lives, yet blame everyone else and therefore never affect any change?

Hivemind.

What bothers me of being 26 is when I see a movie or play a video game where the main character is very young, say, younger than 25.

In Half Life: Opposing Force, Adrian Shepherd is 22 years old and he is already a Spec Ops Marine, other marines call him "sir", and he is thrown into Black Mesa, and is as much of a badass as Gordon Freeman.

It feels as if I was not able to be as badass as him when I was 22, I never will.

I've never felt anxious about aging, but my life has only ever really improved with age. My social skills got better, I started getting fitter and healthier, my career and employment status improved, my net worth and possessions kept going up.

Like honestly if any of this is happening to you, turning 30 is a relief.

Reminder Gordon Freeman is 27 at the start of Half Life, and he’s a super successful scientist.

>and he’s a super successful scientist.
Isn't he more like a fresh out of his PhD and very promising scientist?

Yeah man, good example. I'd say Adrian is way better than Freeman, actually.

The easiest way to succeed in life is to stop comparing yourself to others and just take steps every day to ensure that your have improved yourself just a little bit. Overtime you end up surpassing nearly everyone around you this way.

If all you care about is social status and material goods, you might just be an NPC.

I spent my 20's acting just like you. Don't worry, it gets better.

Going 40 will suck because by that point you'll understand the limitations of your life and the extent of your potential. Like, are you in a good job (if not you'll be doing the same shit for 25 years until retirement) or do you have kids( will you live and die alone).

Newsflash: some kids instinctively realized these things (like not trying to fit in and focus on whatever they wanted) when they were pre-teens or teens. They were already leading awesome and dominant lives for ~14-18 years when most of us get these epiphanies approaching 30.

My lifestyle has been pretty much the same since I turned 24 so I barely noticed when I turned 30.

>tfw no thirty-something Yas Forums bf

Its when your were born, he was born in the 80's.
Making him an 80's baby and a 90's kid.

He was out of infancy at some point during the 90's hence making him a kid during that period.

30 was when I finally felt different physically than when I was a teenager. It was the first year I started noticing I got out of breath a little quicker, and felt a little more tired generally. It wasn't a big change, but it was a shock because I felt like I didn't age for about 12 years. But after that I haven't really noticed much of a difference.

reread what I posted

It's honestly true. The ultimate truth is that you're the NPC, no matter how contrarian, educated, different or informed you are.
