Also in the adaptations Viggo got really good using a sword whereas even by the end Nikolaj moved like a kid playing with a stick
The fat fuck unironically said Jaime
Whoever strikes first, wins.
Of course he did. Real question is how old is this video? I find it hard to believe anyone has any interest in fatty's opinion now
Aragorn is super human, Jaime is great but he's not even peak human great like batman which is what a human would need to be to beat Aragorn in his own element.
jaime has the superior 401k
Hes answered similar questions in favor of lord of the rings, most notably he favored smaug over drogon
That means brienne can also beat aragorn
One of the reasons character in these types of shows should wear helmets is so that when fight scenes start you can just replace the actor with some HEMA guy who actually knows what they’re doing. It felt so silly that Jaime was meant to be the best swordsman in the world but all the times he was shown fighting he looked terrible
Yeah duh, Brienne, Arya, or the sand snakes would all wipe the floor with that wh*te trash
Aragorn, easily. He was about 5% of what his ancestors were, but he was still descended from the Numenor. Basically a peak human.
Even gurm knew jamie being so OP was retarded so he cut his hand off out of plot convenience
Aside from the Hobbits, anyone in the fellowship could take him in a fight with hand weapons.
Aragorn was the hardest of men to ever live during his lifetime. Jaime is a pretty boy faggot with one hand.
Aragorn is canonically 6 and a half feet tall. Jaime is 6 ft 2 inches. It isn’t that big of a difference. He’s got the blood of Numenor but he’s doesn’t have superhuman strength or whatever.
Jaime might realistically win if he was in plate armor with whatever the fuck the magic Damascus steel swords they have are, he might win.
LOTR is cartoon logic, its characters are way more powerful
I think the set up was that they both have regular swords
Aragorn was only like 6'6" (or 6'8", I forget)
And 6'4" mudblood Boromir would almost certainly have beaten him in a fight.
Aragorn was strongest of soul and will, not of body.
Elendil was 8 feet tall.
The real question is Jaime vs Boromir.
The Lannister's don't have a Valerian steel sword until after Jaime loses his hand, at which point Jaime wouldn't stand a chance.
We see Aragorn kill trolls, while Jamie thinks the mountain could potentially kill him.
No contest.

The 'seeing the face thing' that studios care about so much isn't even a big deal. Spartacus had the leads in helmets and showed their faces inside the helmets.
youtu.be
Seeing the actor's faces isn't near as important as their movements being good. And the characters are even supposed to dress in ways historically devised for identification. So seeing who is who isn't even an issue. It's all so dumb.
>Numenor
More than that.
The ancestors of Elros were given unusually long lifespans and vitality.
Aragorn is also part elf had over fifty years of woodland training and his entire childhood being tutored and taught by Elrond's people.
Jaime can't even survive a few weeks by himself in the wilderness.
I'm going to take my chances on the guy who has been training for an entire normal lifetime.
umm... Jamie is missing a hand and can barely fight anymore. Why is this even a question?
>Elendil the Tall
>2.41 meters
>Gregor Clegane
>2.4 meters
lotr wins again

He did the same with Wheel of Time. He wrote a short story pitting some of his characters against Rand and co. and of course his own came out on top.
>The ancestors of Elros were given unusually long lifespans and vitality.
Yeah the royal line seems to be blessed, I think that's more to do it than the racial heritage since assuming the kings of numenor had numenoran human spouses, Aragorn is not likely to have much elf or Maia left in him, since it's like 62 or 64 generations back to Elros. If you calculate the % in excel he's so human that excel rounds it to 100%, so many decimals of zeros used to show his elf and maia heritage, meanwhile for Boromir, he's "99%" human, no maia there though and no royal line. Just a bit of elf.
Martin is awfully fond of his characters even though they’re all pretty much just stand ins for figures from the War of the Roses
Aragon's a dunedain.
what were their tax policies?
I thought gurm hated fan fiction?
