my theory is that no one wants to be a filmmaker or writer for that matter.
the people that want to do these things are doing them for the wrong reasons. it's only after a lifetime of incredible agony that they suddenly realize to write their shit down.

False. I got my start writing for a local newspaper and then sending spec scripts for venture bros. I was a writing consultant/assistant for years and then ended up writing for modern family. I do minor things here or there for extra income but I've always loved to write. I like humor but I'm not a charming performer. If I was I would have just done stand up.

I mainly focus on writing original scripts as stage plays but have a few original screenplays in the works. I have a backlog of adapted screenplays that I use to boost my portfolio and also just in case they ever actually sell or something

for me films combines aspects of what i enjoy, mainly painting and writing. Thats why i chose to direct.

made a movie that went to rotterdam IFF last year. this year we are shooting a comedy in LA and NY; shot in NY right as the 'rona hit 100 infected and got the fuck out. waiting for LA permits to open up again so we can finish shooting there.

Working on the script for a tv series, dont have any hopes of sucess or anything like that, but I do want to ger my ideas out there and I will make the first season even if I have the budget of a czech casting couch film
