Now that the dust has settled, was it kino?
Doesn't seem to get as much nostalgia attention as other Nick programs, but I remember as a kid liking it because you could learn about animals and different parts of the world

I don't remember it very well. I think its because it came towards the end of Nickelodeon's popularity with millennials.
No. It was leftist propaganda shit. Almost as bad as Captain Planet.
>leftist propaganda shit
fucking christ, do you watch anything without reeeing about whether it subscribes to your ideology (which you claim no shows do)?
What about this?
What was bad about this or Captain Planet?
truly a forgotten gem
In a word, you could say that show was,
SMASHING!
Wild Thornberries
>white man bad
>white man kills animals for no reason
>retarded clumsy father figure but strong independent mother
Captain Planet
>white man bad
>diversity is our strength
>white man ruin the environment
How was WT "white man bad" when the good family was all white people?
this, i'm tired of these retards who have to self identify with everything and can't just enjoy something without thinking it's some insecure political attack at them.
Based Tim Curry
I never watched those shows and said “wow white people are bad and are destroying nature”. The message was that we should take care of our planet, which we should. You don’t have to be a hippy or lefty to think that is a good message.
i really hated this show
I want to go back
nah
hell yeah
how did his eyeballs know to send visions to his brain but not someone else's
wifi nervous system
How?
>What was bad about this or Captain Planet?
I stopped watching Captain Planet when I was 4-5 after I figured out the agenda and got sick of the diversity.
>caring about agenda and diversity when you were 4-5
Shit childhood lacking any joy. Did you also hate reading rainbow, recess and nap time in preschool because if so miss me with that tasteless shit falling out of your mouth and onto your keyboard.
It was good in small doses. Catching an episode here or there was ok. When they would do the 3hr block it was shit.
why did tv start doing this? i remember when nick at nite started doing the block party summer shit (lucy tuesday, munsters thursday, etc) and hated it
it blew my fucking mind as a kid when they did that crossover with the rugrats
>miss me with that tasteless shit falling out of your mouth and onto your keyboard.
Do you talk like a black because you hate yourself?
>leftist propaganda
Find me one scene from any episode that could be called left-wing.
I remember one decidedly right-wing lesson in the episode where they visit the African savanna. Eliza thinks she can befriend a cheetah by offering it juice to drink, and at first it's friendly, but as soon as the cheetah and its mother get hungry, they turn on her and try to eat her without hesitation, forcing her to accept that in some animals, instinct will always be the most powerful driving force
Early millennials, like 35 year olds, stopped watching Nick around 98-99 when this stuff was coming out like Rocket power and Wild thornberrys.
But late millennials, i.e. 26 year olds, started watching Nick around that time. Their idea of "classic Nick" is rather different from a 35 y/o's.
It was meh/generic. Eliza was ugly.
the characters were too ugly so kid me hated them with passion.
Maybe producers and creators shouldnt push their political shit into kids shows then
Also remember the episode were she accidentally offends the wild chimps with what seemed like a harmless hand jester even after Darwin repeatedly explained to her how not to piss them off she still assumed she could just talk to them like any other animal.
Do you talk like you are white because you think you are white?
