They wont attack but they're super fucking toxic, and they excrete the toxin through their skin, so just touching them means a huge risk of absorbing the toxin through your skin and getting sick or dying. South american tribesmen used to rub arrows on them to make them toxic, which is why they're sometimes called poison arrow frogs

I've been watching Fear the walking dead for the past two days and that show is way worse with it's PoC/LGBT inclusion but the characters don't make it a part it their identities, it's just there. But it's more like a soap opera with occasional zombies so far. Season two is full telanovella mode though
