The first three season of this were fantastic, can’t believe it was constantly on the brink of cancellation. Why was no one watching?

third season was lame

boomers don't watch sitcoms that break the typical mold. same reason it took so long for arrested development to be appreciated.

Because it's a horribly uninteresting show on the surface level and Abed just makes it seem Big Bang Theory quality.

Just started season 5, I expect shorter seasons will mean less interesting episodes and more melodrama

It was on at the same time as The Office, Parks and Rec, and 30 Rock. Tough competition.

For some reason I always thought it looked dumb when it was on so I never watched it, but now I regret that

Tried marathoning it once, and just couldn't get into it, even as background filler. I didn't love The Office but at least it wasn't actively shit.

There is literally no redeeming qualities it has, besides some eye-candy. It's would probably be possible to make something like a 15 minute compilation of anything worth seeing on Brie, so nobody has to actually pretend to like this crap.

Is that why Chevy Chase left too

No. It was because Dan Harmon and Chevy Chases egos clashed.

I'm watching this for the first time now. First two seasons were great, on S3 now which is is a little weaker. I've heard the fourth season sucks. Should I push through S4, skip to S5, or just stop?
