>Sir we think you are a dangerous murderous cartel member so we keep you in prison unless you pay us an amount only a dangerous murderous cartel member could pay then you are free to go.
Does the American justice system really work like this?
>Sir we think you are a dangerous murderous cartel member so we keep you in prison unless you pay us an amount only a dangerous murderous cartel member could pay then you are free to go.
Does the American justice system really work like this?
Yes, and then you get sent to privately owned prisons
They didn't think he was a cartel leader they just thought he was some beaner
murderous Mexican nationals do not get granted bail of any amount.
Its a fucking tv show, get a grip.
its supposed to be realistic though
what kind of judge in a petty town court goes like
>I agree that setting no bond would be an unfair thing to do
>So I'm going to set an exorbitant amount only a 0.001%er would be able to pay
>np, I'm a fair man
still they thought he commited a murder
he had an american identity set up
It happens quite a bit actually. Unless you’re legitimately considered a flight risk then it’s typically not the practice of a judge to hold a prisoner without bail until a potentially length trial has been conducted.
Having said that, this was very unrealistic.
>Saul: i mean come on, look at him. He wouldnt hurt a fly
>lalo: massive mexican smile
>judge: alright alright. You can go
Show dropped the ball here to be honest. Lots of forced events in this season. I guess the "nothing happens" memes got back to AMC.
It is implied that Saul said something to the judge when him and the attorney got the sidebar

Why are Yas Forums anons such brainlets? I swear there's more meaningful analyses in YouTube comments than on here
false
Wtf is bail anyway. Just the law making money off rich criminals?
It's money the state holds hostage so you don't flee before your trial. If you show up like you're supposed to you get it back. If you don't show up the state keeps it.
Oh u get it back. That makes more sense.
>Its a fucking tv show, get a grip.
They aren't setting him free. It's for bail.
he's free now isn't he?
He became a permanent wanted criminal in the US. That's not freedom.
He already was
>massive mexican smile
lol
oh cool. Judges are stupid now?
they knew he was connected.
Some judges are stupid, yes.
Plus he set the bail at $7 million because he thought he was a low-level cartel lackey. He had no way of knowing that he was a high-level cartel member who they’d be willing to fork over $7 million to bail out.
unironically yes
>we think you are a dangerous murderous cartel member
No they didn't, dimwit.
Why does Yas Forums have such an hardon for Lalo?
Yes he's good, but I like him no more than Mike.
have you watched any action scene with mike in it?
He’s charismatic and is only looking for a good time. Two things I respect.
>like him no more than mike
Oh, I bet you are a Fringfag. Fuck you
Mike is one lucky motherfucker, but none of his scenes involve black magic.
I like them all.
They're all very unique.
It's the combination of them all that brings kino.
