I mean this in the least degenerate way possible. I think its because the way Jimmy and Kim play off each other is more like a really strong sibling bond. I've seen others point this out too. They aren't together because of superficial reasons. They did a great job establishing Kim in season 1 as someone Jimmy felt he could confide in, because he knew she would be able to rationalize and empathize with his motivations. Jimmy knows Kim isn't going to blow him off or laugh in his face for acting like a fool because she knows what makes him tick. If you contrast this with Skyler's relationship with Walt, its completely night and day. This isn't to say that Kim and Jimmy's relationship isn't a toxic one, because it definitely is they are like a 2 unit wrecking crew and up until their marriage there was a pretty good amount of deception and manipulation at times, but their energy is simultaneously very wholesome and supportive.
