It most certainly was

Based.

Best parody movie that sets the bar for all others.

I'm just in this song because I'm a black guyyyyyyyy

It's literally the pinnacle of Parody movies

Yes. Past the crassness it's a very loving tribute to the 80s teen dramas. Frankly I'd put it next to the true GOAT "Young Frankenstein" as best parody films.

Yes. It wasn't just references to other movies, it understood and poked fun at teen movie tropes.

It alright.

>Young Frankenstein.
Good taste.

It was the last of the great parody movies, anyway. Only thing close in current times is Kung Pow.

It it truly was the last movie.

>poked fun at teen movie tropes
I mean, it just did those tropes and had characters state what the tropes are in a self-aware way. I guess it's better than just having characters from other movies appear and announce who they are, but it's only slightly cleverer.

>Current Times

Kung Pow came out one year after Not Another Teen Movie

No

No it also showed how ridiculous those tropes are without being too meta like the ponytail and glasses makeover and the scene where he sings to her in the stadium.

Yes.

it was really sleazy and crude and jewish. so a good summation of the entire "genre"
not really funny unless you're an actual retard

Found the jew.

If you liked Scary Movie WHO GIVES A FUCK?!

Based.

The sister was the best character. But then, imagine how weird it would be to have an older sister like her, haha

There was also a parody of THIS movie which went even further by casting 30+year olds as high schoolers and the main girl was seriously ugly. Anyone remember it?
