why the living fuck are stores banning reusable bags?
people walk in the store after picking their nose, blowing their nose, touching their nasty steering wheel, and who knows what else, then go on to touch their cart, food, money, all of which is handled by others. not to mention potentially sneezing or coughing in the store.
how does a reusable bag increase the contamination risk by any measurable amount after all that?
the usa is shit

kek are they doing this all across America?
I actually wonder if reusable bags are safer, at least for self checkout, since you're the only person handling them

OTIE!

This was choice bigot. It was her turn and you will burn like those Christcucks down in Waco.

Reusable bags have a bigger carbon footprint than a lifetime of plastic bags. They exist because idiots think that the plastic bags in the Pacific are theirs and not the gooks that are literally dumping their garbage into the ocean.

Farewell, Frodo Baggins, I give you the hand sanitizer of Eärendil our most beloved brand. May it be a cleanser to you in dark places when all other soap and water go out.

americans really do this...

kek no, stop trying to justify being a lazy bastard

I want Aragorn to be my dad

Fucking sick of this propaganda -see image.

Also, it's incredibly likely some of the plastic the insectoids are dumping into the see ARE yours, depending on who you're sending your waste to. Since a large volume of waste has been shipped off to China for years now.

you can't really compare plastic with single use plastics easily, it's not just the carbon output but the pollution they cause since they don't break down and create microplastics

Yes, and single use plastic does that constantly when dumped in the environment where the elements eat it away for years.
Meanwhile a reusable plastic bag which spends most of the time either in your house or car has nothing near that kind of exposure.

It just requires gallons upon gallons of water to clean and the resulting phosphates travel downstream.

Are they mandating reduced store hours in the US? They are in Canada, and the result is the same amount of business forced into a narrower time frame, so the disease-ridden crowds are way bigger than they would normally be.

soap and water is more effective faggot

Are you seriously comparing cleaning a bag over years as opposed to hundreds of plastic bags degrading in various bodies of water?

>May it be a cleanser to you in dark places WHEN ALL OTHER SOAP AND WATER GO OUT

Yeah I'm agreeing, what I mean is single use plastics are even worse than the carbon output because they also pollute
lmao who the fuck cleans their grocery bags? Literally what is the point?

Over years? Most people lose their bags in a couple months.

Why are some countries doing this, it's the most retarded thing ever
>hmm yes let's concentrate people into denser time periods while also reducing work for the few people left with jobs

coronavirus
e-coli
coliform bacteria

nigga can you even read

I’m more of an Aldi guy.

i just now sneezed on my monitor - you might want to disinfect yours

>e-coli
>coliform bacteria
>from a shopping bag
jesus christ do you unironically wash your reusable bags? do americans really?
are they cotton or the reusable plastic?

What an impressive source.

Barring fruit and veg (and even then not always), anything I can think of that you buy is packaged, meaning the food never touches the fabric of the bag itself.

I don't know anyone that washes their bags.

Noone is banning them in my country and everyone is using them.

Yeah, they've banned plastic bags across my state as of a few months ago. God damn rich white liberal retards wanting to feel like they're doing good. I reused my plastic bags millions of times for trash, food preservation, any fucking storage a simple, small thin bag like that works for. I can't use "reusable" bags for half the things I could use "consumable" bags for

Meat is shrinkwrapped and prone to leaks unless you are buying processed garbage.

Buy some glass containers, it's not rocket science.

>fill your tiny kitchen with more crap
Glass does not fit nearly the same role plastic does and takes up far more space. I can wrap a carton of ground meat in a plastic bag and stuff it in the freezer without it taking up any more space than it would uncontained. I can't fucking stuff a glass casserole in my freezer just to hold my meat

Why the fuck would you even dispute that reusable bags are better? This is the laziest contrarian boomer argument I have ever seen on here, imagine being in this much conflict with the world and thinking you're so much smarter than everyone else
