Gamera films are highly underrated, but the most underrated kaiju film of all time is Son of Godzilla.

I listed the above kaiju films in order. In general I'm a sucker for kaiju films, especially Toho films (Godzilla and non-Godzilla) and the Gamera movies, so I have a hard time ranking them. Every one has something fun in it except the 1998 American Godzilla abomination.
> Favorite Moments, Scenes or Battles?
The scenes in Godzilla vs. Monster Zero set on Planet X are beyond awesome. Jupiter in the background was really cool. The whole space aesthetic in Monster Zero was pure kino.
My second all-time favorite moment was when the kids in the psychic school held up pictures of Godzilla attacking at the beginning in Biollante. That was creepy and awesome.

Godzilla, obviously. Second favorite is Anguirus. He's a faithful fren.

Showa from Ghidrah the Three-Headed Monster onward. My favorite Goji suit is the one in Godzilla vs. Monster Zero.

I seriously want to see Biollante and Anguirus in the Legendaryverse but besides that
I wanna see a Crab like Kaiju that isnt like Ebirah and more insect/arachnid inspired ones I feel like they could inspire some really neat designs

I think it was decently ok. The weakest of the Mothra trilogy but still far far better then the post Gyaos Showa Gamera films.

I think it's always been popular among G-Fans.
Fantastic effects, great new monster and origin. Good human characters, good military porn.
Only thing some people give it crap for is the supposedly star wars-y score, the political spy plot and the spiritual element of Biollante all of which I had zero problem with.

It was kinda the path not taken.
They tried to keep a more serious tone that 1984 set up and created a completely new villain monster but then sadly it was weak at the box office and so they ran back to rehashing Ghidorah, Mothra and MechaGodzilla. (originally they were gonna do a new vs king kong movie but couldn't get the rights to it and so went with Ghidorah)
