Warner Bros. has made things official in regards to Batman Beyond Movie. The studio’s issued the green light and Tim Burton (Dumbo) has finalized his deal to Direct and produce "Batman Beyond".
Described as an direct continuation to 'Batman' and 'Batman Returns, the plot will focus on a old Bruce Wayne training Terry McGinnis to take the Batman mantle.
Michael Keaton is in talks to return as Bruce Wayne, with Michelle Pfeiffer, Kim Basinger and Billy Dee Williams in Talks to reprise their respective roles.
Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski will pen the script.
Bruce Wayne is the only Batman and I would love to see Keaton come back in a dark knight returns way, Batman Beyond doesn’t interest me at all.

>Danny Devito isn't Jewish No, pretty sure he isn't. Just an unfortunate set of genes >Isn't he married to some jew ogress? Yes

Yes, and it wasn't terrible. Just that there are so many more recognizable movies he's made, I'm surprised a relatively obscure remake of a Disney movie is what they went with.

What does directing even mean anymore?
I mean even Willy Wonka by Tim Burton was fully green screen.
Like what will he do? Tell them where to stand, because you know this ENTIRE movie will have to be green screen.
Oh god, don't google his children if you value your eyeballs.

You've got Snyder using greenbluescreen to make amazing shit. Then you've got everyone else. Since most green screen movies look shit it must matter who's directing.

Being the director pretty much means telling people what to do on set, which is minimal when you're shooting inside a building in front of a huge green screen. I imagine being a director is easy as fuck. They're surrounded by assistants and other people doing their own jobs. You can just delegate to them what to do any they do it. Being the director is pretty much just being the one that tells people to do their jobs.
