Original Pokemon movie I think

JP for me too. Scared the shit out of me when I first saw it, and ten proceeded to see it 7 times in the theater. Still one of my favorite movies of all time.

why why wes
tim burton planet of the apes

Return of the Jedi, I was 5.

Disney's Aladdin in 1992.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Fucked me up seeing those little aliens at the end all scurrying about. I was a kid and knew it was kids in suits and had never seen that before but it unsettled me seeing it instantly.

Antz, i was 6 or 7

Men in Black.
Entered the wrong theatre and took 11min to realize it was My Best Friends Wedding.

and it is still one the best movies I have ever seen.

lion king

Comfy Christmas time release wasn't it?

Jurassic Park for me. The CG/I practicals were amazing but the audio is what I still remember the most. Fucking insane.

Grandpa

Jaws 1975. What a day! Playing all day with my childhood friend in the summer heat. Going home my parents are going to see Jaws, I beg if I can go, they say go up and get your jacket as the theater will be cold. I shrug them off saying I don't need that, spend the rest of the evening shivering like crazy from the movie and freezing cold in the Jersey City Lowes theater. But I'll remember that forever.

The first Bayformers movie. I was 6.

Never been to a movie theatre there is none where i live

Bambi

OP here. Did your family ever go to any drive-in theaters? There are two within 40 minutes of where I live in Cincinnati. Been several times in the past couple years. Pretty fun to be honest.

Alvin and the fucking Chipmunks, when I was 8.

Ghostbusters II
Seeing that river of pink slime is locked in my memory.

There were none in the area. Besides it was the 70's a lot of blacks and hispaincs were on a major drug and crime sprees and you had to watch yourself with them especially in the NY/NJ area. It was rough.

Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, I had just turned 26

Tarzan.

Yeah from what my parents tell me the drive-ins started going down in the 80s because they were magnets for criminal activity. The ones where I live thrive pretty well.

Terminator 2

a bugs life

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

TMNT the original movie in 1990. Saw it on a sneak peak, so I saw it before any of my friends.

the lion king

Emperor's new groove

Revenge of the Sith. I was six years old and got to watch Anakin's skin burn off. Quite an experience.

Watched the shit out of the VHS. April O'Neil was one of those first women that made me get a tingly feeling in the stomach.
