Possibly following on the heels of the Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie, it is rumored that Warner Bros. and DC are developing an "Elseworlds" Lex Luthor film with Ryan Gosling in final talks to play the Superman supervillain.
Joe Wright, known for Darkest Hour, will be directing from a script he co-wrote with his Darkest Hour co-writer, Anthony McCarten, who also wrote the Oscar-award winning Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as The Theory of Everything.
I don't think the goose would bother stooping down to capeshit at this stage in his career. I dunno, maybe it could be good, I did enjoy joker after all. right now I don't see it.

The best option, looks near identical to the animated lex
Was pushing for him for BvS. Instead we got something else.

You wish you capeshitting manchildren, Goose will never ever succumb to your soulless franchise sensibilities.

Goddam right.

I want the father/son feud that TWBB sort of teased between Plainview and H.W. I want it ambiguous if Lex, Jr. is really Lex's son or just his clone. I want the father to be mentally and physically abusive because his own father's abuse made him who he is.

He should’ve played Aquaman desu

Will Henry return? Gosling and Henry could be kino.
>make a Trump biopic with shoestring budget >replace all Trump name with Luthor >replace his hair with baldness >use own media to attack it >??? >profit

They should just adapt Birthright and be done with it.
It's a great Superman origin story and it can basically be used to spring a proper chain of movies from it.
