Yes. It's full of security vulnerabilities at this point. qBittorrent is much better. Transmission is good too.

I've heard that they send the letters because they are required to do so by the law but they most likely won't do shit because they don't want to lose customers. Basically they keep repeating "stop that or we'll cut the cord" but they never do.
Don't take my word for it though, this is probably an excusively US/western EU issue so I'm not sure what could happen because I'm not from there.
