this post reeks of the redditor
91 years old and still going pretty strong. One of the last real composers who writes for movies.
I haven't used reddit since 2007, user
damn i would have assumed he was dead. thats cool
No, mine does

Please call me reddit
Deborahs theme - Once Upon a Time in America
based, saw him in concert twice, very kino. Best Italian film composer after Piero Umiliani
>this post reeks of the redditor
this post reeks of filtered baby
He's certainly part of a dying breed. John Scott and John Williams are still kicking, but the former is essentially retired and I don't think Williams will write for the movies again. Other than them I think all the old masters are gone.
Dumb shit. A redditor would have picked a song from a meme movie like Interstellar.

Leone and Morricone were a fantastic team. How many composers could have a score set an entire scene? And how many directors would let them? The lack of dialogue to let the music dictate the story is a lost and forgotten art.
Not even best song from the dollar trilogy

For a Few Dollars More is the better film. TGTBATU drags on for too long, the chemistry between Blondie and Mortimer is much better than that between Blondie and Tuco, and El Indio is a much better villain than Angel Eyes.
remember, I said "time is luck"
Does that even count as a song considering it has no lyrics?
That's good OP but everybody already knows it. How about this as a war theme youtube.com
>Does that even count as a song considering it has no lyrics?
It doesn't. By definition a song must have lyrics
Everything the guy did was gold.

no OP means "theme"
manhunter? more like man of taste here.
Agree about Indio, but I think Tuco is the single best character in any Leone film.
Also TGTBTU has that epic quality which takes it to the next level for me.
Based Mann
>that shakuhachi sound
LOL everybody was using those in the 1980s. I remember Roger Waters playing one on the Radio KAOS album.
Based Friedkin

I would, but you're too based
Harmonica theme from Once Upon a Time in the West is better
So is For a Few Dollars More's soundtrack overall
Peter Greenaway had a similar relationship with Michael Nyman, but only art fags know about it.

Kinda funny how they made the Lufftwaffe theme better than the British one. Even if that too is fucking fantastic.
Smetana's Moldau playing over this scene always gives me chills
