Waddup dudes, I made my first docuemtnary recently. It isnt going to bend any minds or win any super awards but I am happy I finished it. I shot it on a GH5 with a 50mm lense. I shot, edited, and narrated the whole thing. In retrospect, there are a million things I would go back and change but I am happy I finished.
The film is about homelessness. Kind of a generic topic, but I did my best to curate a bunch of interesting stories from people living on the streets as opposed to making a generic "homeless people = sad". My two line pitch is I traveled across the USA collecting tales, lessons, and insights from people who are living on the streets. This film is a window into the various homeless subcultures in America and the vivid complexity of its constituents.

yeah, the lense is actually a 35 full frame lense but with a speedbooster it converts to a 52mm...... For interviews, I prefer a large 75mm lense but for the b roll, a wider lense like you recomendedwould have been nice
