Amos is the biggest hypocrite
Hes the bad guy already for being wh*te
It was settled by belters and the company was trying to steal it.
I can't stand holden anymore bros
i dont give a fuck what user said
>We need Kit Harrington but he isn't available
>We need Kit Harrington
I don't believe that conversation happened.
>name is Adolphus
>wants to gas minorities
Is this the power of good writing?
DUDE, IM TOTALLY IMPARTIAL BUT LEAVE THE POOR BELTERS ALONE
IM NOT INVOLVED, BUT IM VOUCHING FOR THE BELTERS
SURE, THE BELTERS MAY HAVE BOMBED YOU... BUT THATS NO EXCUSE FOR DEFENDING YOURSELF MURTRY!
if you kill your enemies, they win
o ho, hey there hoss!
>o ho
YA DUN GOOFED
Amos blatantly states he doesn't like belter gasman, but doesn't act on it until he directly threatens the rocie and her crew. Really user, you should know this.

Why was there an oxygen/nitrogen atmosphere on that planet?
Doors and corners kid
its "oh ho ho, hey there hoss" iirc

see
this should answer everything for you
this is explained somewhere in the books but i don't remember the exact reason. all the habitable planets in the ring network have similar atmospheres. the nexus station in the center of the ring also had a lot of boron. sorry i dont remember
Amos is a hypocrite because he acts like he’s better than Murtry even though Amos has killed way more with even less reason behind it
The company owned it and the belters were squatting
this is holden book 1 onward. In fact the books go more into Holden thinking "like the man" now and thinking about the big picture rather than his gut feelings, and it leads to a tiff with him and Naomi. I'm not defending him, the belters are basically squatters, but at that point murty was not helping holden's push to unite and get under cover, so he's gonna oppose murty. Holden was never meant to be the best captain, in fact he shits the bed multiple times following his gut and even gets irradiated on Ilos, fucks up multiple times, etc. In fact it's mostly the crew getting holden through problems, not the other way around.
He goes full retard, but imho the viewer is supposed to not see him as THE villain. At least not until he tries to kill the Holden and his crew. I think it's a failed attempt at setting up a 'both sides were wrong' scenario due to backpaddeling/doubling down on going for a generic 'muh evil mega corp.' one. I mean they clearly try to create empathy for him right after the crash, don't they? I also don't want to defend this shitty season, but it doesn't feel like a downright 'if you kill your enemies they win' kind of thing. I even bought that Holden got PTSD'd into becoming a pseudo pacifist. They should have gone harder in that direction though and made him a real one.
woah ho hey ho hold on hey woah hey ho oh ho hoh woah hoah there boss
next clue in the case kid
Amos in a weird way "promotes" Murty by saying they're both killers. In the show there is also a lot missing that the book fills in, early in the series and in the books Amos uses people around him as a moral compass, but after he finds out that Naomi backstabbed and lied to the crew for probably the third time and gave fred johnson the fucking protomolecule the books go into detail that Amos is starting to choose his own battles and fights, and not look to Naomi or Holden for morality. Amos isn't moralizing based on Murty bad Murty good though, he's treating Murty like he would a clone of himself, aka a dangerous animal that needs to be avoided or killed depending on the situation.
That goes all out the window when murty makes Amos kill his camp gf and that's the whole reason why he beats the shit out of murty, not really because murty bad me like belters.
He's a bad guy because the writers make him retarded in the very last episode and he decides to kill Holden even though they're all trapped on the planet and he is obviously the only one who can get them out of the situation.
I blame the actor, he's too good. Book murty was a genuine piece of shit but show murty is likeable and efficent
How hard are they going to go "Not All Better" in the next season to avoid the audience hating them all after Earth gets wasted?
earth is a shit hole though who cares lmao
