ITT bad movies that people inexplicably praise

Everyone hyped this movie so much 10 years ago. I saw it in theaters right when it came out, normies were literally calling it "deep" and how it was hard to understand without multiple viewings. I and everyone I personally knew at the time thought it was trash.

wow you're so cool can I please have sex with you

>bad

Opinions are not facts. Yas Forums users like to present their standards as universal but they aren't.

Inception is one of the most retarded low IQ movies I've ever seen dude, and no I'm not OP.

nothing wrong with decently executed middlebrow films

better than capeshit that's for sure

I don't know man, I'd say something like Ghostbusters (2016) is worse but ok

It's a good movie tho stop trying to fit in

Saw it once.. Thought it was dull as fuck. Dragged my friends to see it again, fell asleep halfway through and woke up at the snow battle. Fell back asleep till it was over. I have insomnia, BTW. Nolan movies are 200 minutes of dry, monotonous, sterile exposition. His assistant should be forced to wear a shirt that says "SHOW, DON'T TELL" to constantly remind him not to be a boring android.

The Prestige is his only true kino.

I didn't bother to watch that and still haven't seen it. I found no reason to even try with that one, already knew it was going to be bad.

*Dragged BY friends* sorry that typo made it sound like I wanted to see it again.

1917

What is the story of that picture?

I like this movie. It was unpredictable and the stakes kept getting bigger. It reminds me of Ghost Protocol. Also it gave me an uneasy feeling through the whole movie about Cobb.

The Prestige is easily his best movie but once it turns into a bizarre clone scinfi horror movie it kind of shits the bed. Don't bother explaining to me how thematically it makes sense, I GET IT, it's just jarring.

Wrong. Nolan's GOAT is Insomnia

I didn't hate Black Panther as much as I thought I would but I still think it's extremely overrated. Lots of super hero tropes and cliches that make it feel too much like every other cape movie.

Amber Heard

Great movie. Exposition completely ruined it thriller aspects of it

if you literally don't know any normies then can I see a pic of your face? You must be some goblin looking nigger my guy

I never said my opinion was a fact, but since you're an inception fan I can assume you're retarded.

The Killing Fields
(fuck all wiki entry movies)

>His assistant should be forced to wear a shirt that says "SHOW, DON'T TELL" to constantly remind him not to be a boring android.
I love how dilettantes act as if this is some sort of hardcore rule.

add me to the class action law suit to get our money back.

I love Inception desu not just for being a pretty great film but for also exposing how big of a pseuds that most "film buffs" are particularly on forums like Yas Forums and reddit.

Amusing to watch them parrot the same lines like "Show don't tell", "lol, it has so many plot holes, "Heh, for a movie about dreams it sure has very little mind blowing/trippy imagery".

all of them

But again, this is opinion and not fact. There are plenty of people who feel differently.

i dare you to name a movie you like, faggot

thinking inception is a great film is top pseudery, faggot. Its a gimmicky film for plot plebs. Like all Nolan's films it has extremely low rewatchabilty.

All Nolan films are a constant pointless yap

When people say they "didn't like" a movie, that's a subjective thing, there's nothing wrong with not liking a movie. When people say a movie is "bad" and they don't back that up with concrete reasons why it was poorly executed then I assume the person is an idiot and they don't even know it.

>nothing wrong with decently executed middlebrow films
This is the correct answer.

My IQ is 150, professionally tested, and Inception is my favorite movie.
