You liked it until Reddit loved it and people started saying it was Reddit. Don't lie.
Be honest
I liked it until s5
Love it until Mickael Scott is out.
I watched a few episodes after he left and never finished anything after. Don't know how it ends and don't care.
Now that so many shows copied its style, it's style has become stale obviously. But for its time, The Office was good and fresh.
It's good for a mindless watch. I watch it when I need meaningless entertaiment, the way people watch Seinfeld, but it's no great show.
I liked Jim and Pam relationship a lot (at least in the first seasons). It's nice to see a love story that's not cheesy and it's nice to see it especially since it's very rare nowadays in real life. You don't see couples where love and friendship is what brings people to each other. It's nice to have a show to offers that.
The show was better in the first seasons when it was just about some workers trying to get through the day at their boring jobs, when the characters were mostly average Joes with some idiosyncrasies instead of the forced caricatures they had in the later seasons.
They should have kept it about some normal people working together instead of the clusterfuck the later seasons were.
fpbp
i never watched it then again, i liked friends and himym so i guess have the sense of humor of a white girl, maybe ill like it
Still like watching reruns. Still hate John Krasinski’s doughy face.
My and my gf are on our first viewing now. Easily the best American TV comedy I've seen
I hated it once Andy showed up. Worst character. I stopped watching after Steve Carell left.
It's definitely entertaining and can be endearing, but it never even came close to farting in Seinfeld's shadow.
I liked it while I was a teenager, I also liked Star Wars and superheroes. Then I turned 18 and stop liking this crap. It’s a shame Yas Forums never made the same transition.
I liked it until Jim and Pam married, and tolerated it until that retarded caricature of a southern woman took David Wallace's position, the show was unwatchable after that. Even earlier seasons though are insufferably sappy at times, it's got funny moments but it can be hard to watch.
I never once liked cape shit cause I'm not a fag. If you liked cape shit then, you probably still like em now but don't want to look like a fag by admitting it on this board.
For the record, I'm sure we unanimously agree that it is garbage towards the end. So let's just talk about from before Michael left.
I've been trying to watch through the whole thing for the first time, and it's taking me forever
There's been a bunch of moments where I have to stop and quit for a few days because I just can't handle the cringe anymore
It has some really funny peaks but most of the show relies on some delusion that awkward and cringey is the same thing as funny
The episode where Michael dates that married woman then goes and finds her husband took 3 or 4 attempts to get through
I don’t know if I’d still like them I suppose, I haven’t watched any in years.
I still like it but fuck are the later seasons terrible
It was shit before he left too, it was only good up to season 4, maybe
I never liked it that much. There is one or two good episodes. Also, there is too much romance drama in it I don't give a fuck about.
>It has some really funny peaks but most of the show relies on some delusion that awkward and cringey is the same thing as funny
It's jewish humor, I guess ?
A lot of tv shows are like that. It's really hard to binge on these without wanting to off yourself.
Yeah, but once his departure was the nail in the coffin.
Imagine being this obsessed with jews
I actually laughed when Kevin dropped his chili.
And then felt ashamed when i found out it was discussed on reddit.
Season 5 is the last decent season.
>Liking anything
I hope some of you are better than this
I think cringey is funny. I mean obviously the cringe has to have some humor to it. If it's not funny, it's definitely entertaining. It's not Jewish humor. This humor is just the result of people getting tired of the humor of the early 2000s and late 90s. What're some movies or shows you find actually hilarious?
Are Americans really so subservient to labor that their favorite show takes place in an office?
>Imagine being this obsessed with obsession with jews
I simply asked a question about a relation of what I think is a predominant feature of something predominantly made by a distinctive group of people.
Imagine being such a whiny little bitch you think any reference to "jewish humor" is a negative obsession
I think cringe can be quite funny too.
But it's also tiresome.
>What're some movies or shows you find actually hilarious?
I'm not going to tell you, you'll have to find another way to do your marketing survey, Mark.
Robert California?
Are we talking about The Office US or gay anal sex? Because both are equivalent.
It was good until that season with the quadroon and the guy from hangover came into the picture.
Why? I mean, I can see how something in this style is refreshing after a decade of everything trying to imitate Friends, but what do you enjoy about seeing Michael make everyone hate their lives? What's funny about a grown man that desperate for the approval of others?
