Why does this one episode of this child’s show absolutely enrage the redditors? Is it a nice guys incels thing? Existential fear? Just general hatred of males I don’t understand

because it gives a prime example of intrinsic contrarianism and that people have differing opinions, and since most people are programmed npcs now they can't fathom why people just don't like what they like
Entitlement and wokeness. The kid doesn't like Tj. So fucking what? You aren't owed a reason why he dislikes you or anyone for that matter. They feel there needs to be a valid reason or its based of bigotry.
idk, but it's true.
Sometimes you just don't like someone. I'm sure there's some micro thing they do that you don't pick up on but you're brain does that makes you dislike someone, but it's real. We always make judgement based on first impressions, and sometimes things just don't click.
That was a based episode, and Redditor's need to understand that sometimes there's just a disconnect between people, and that's why Cindy won't return your messages. There's nothing you can do to win her over, sometimes it just doesn't *click*
I have no idea what reddit thinks about this episode , but it sounds totally reasonable. Sometimes people just hate or dislike you. There is no particular reason for it, and trying to figure out why is a waste of time.
The kid just knew TJ was the de facto leader type prick so he naturally avoided someone with that much self given clout.
>I have no idea what reddit thinks about this episode
I think this video explains it:

Pretty sure that’s the guy that made OPs image
>starts off with MLP clip
I'm already pissed off and I'm trying not to be.
tl;dr
>ITS NOT OK TO NOT LIKE SOMEBODY FOR NO REASON AT ALL, THATS BEING AN ASSHOLE
Wanna know a secret, Detweiler?
So basically his argument boils down to "It's not okay to not like somebody for no reason. You need to have a concrete reason and verbalise it".
Yeah it's pretty fucking dumb. People may not like you, and may not spend the time or effort to explain why. It's completely reasonable. You don't need to spend your time justifying why you like or dislike somebody.
He just sounds like the guy that was (and still is) bullied and disliked but can't come to terms that not most people don't have a 'logical' reason for it.

Why did Holdo say "I like him [Poe]". After Poe had just carried a mutiny against her? I'm having a hard time believing you could actually like subordinates who betrayed all your trust just moments ago.
Does this guy do a complex analysis every time he likes someone as well?
There are just character types that are repulsed by others, nobody should be forced to fight against that.
>Does this guy do a complex analysis every time he likes someone as well?
Yes, it's called "admirable animations" or something.
>someone
cause it hits too close to home
>omg you cant just resent the popular kid everyone likes!!
based recess working normalfags into a shoot
over at /mlp/ they are trying to deepfake the ponies voices. Get ready for this sort of awful shit to get a lot worse.
sounds like they have autism and are annoyed a "plot thread" was left "unfinished" in a way that's realistic to life
If people actually have a problem with the episode they're just retarded.
Emotions aren't logical, in a perfect world, yes disliking someone for no reason wouldn't make sense, but we don't live in a perfect world.
>disliking someone for no reason wouldn't make sense
Why not?
Expecting kids to have reasons for things is retarded on it's own. The moral of this episode should be that in the deepest parts of our brains, we are no different from lizards.
Again, what is wrong with having no reason in disliking someone? How is not having that reason "retarded"?
Cant they just talk to their tulpas? Seems like itd be easier for them to give themselves brain damage

"Oh... b-but I love that show. What's the episode?"
>One I didn't really care for that much
"Phew, thank goodness."
just because a show is made for kids doesn't mean it doesn't touch on relatable topics or that it can't be profound or that it lacks artistic merit. Most adults who like shows like this grew up watching them and are revisiting them. A person who never watched the show growing up or who didn't know what the show was probably wouldn't relate enough to get it. they might like the characters or slapstick jokes or references but they probably wont like it for the same reasons nostalgic viewers do.
>best episode
>reddit hates it

do i need a reason to not like op?
You post like an enbie.
I really liked the episode. Sometimes people just don't get along. Maybe because they have conflicting personalities or maybe because of some other reason they don't even know about.
Also as far as I remember Gordy never actively did anything to hurt or antagonize TJ. He simply explained that he doesn't like him and ignored him otherwise if possible. He contemplated for moment if his feelings changed after the adventure with TJ but stayed honest to himself.
I thought that was a good lesson for kids how to deal with people you don't like. You don't have to force yourself to like somebody even if there is nothing wrong with the person and you don't know why you don't like them. And if you don't like somebody, be cordial about it. Not liking somebody is no justification for malice. TJ on the other hand learned that you can't be liked by everybody and that you shouldn't try to be everybody's favourite which is an equally important lesson.
