Kisses K after stabbing him

>Kisses K after stabbing him
>I'm the best one

I'm so confused. What did she mean by this? Did she have a crush on K? Did I miss something?

Yes, the Kiss of Death deleted scene.

She was extremely jealous/envious of him. She was designed from the ground up by the very hands of the Creator while K was supposed to be just another unit.

She thinks she is supposed to be the most perfect of all the androids, the closest possible thing to being human without actually breaching the supposed barrier between android and human.

Realizing that someone like K could be the Child and thus more human, and also more 'perfect' than her, drives her crazy.

I think they're unrelated. She may have some semblance of feelings for him, or a desire to have those feelings. She shows this during the scene in the abandoned part of the offices where she starts asking him personal questions after saying being asked questions makes her feel invigorated. Or maybe she's just pushing the boundaries of her replicant brain and trying to feel some humanity. She does cry when Wallace kills the replicant in front of her.
Also I think with the kiss, she's just imitating what she saw Wallace do with the failed replicant experiment earlier in the movie. Seems like there's some inner conflict with her wanting to be loyal but wanting to be human at the same time.
>I'm the best one
She sees herself and K as pets and she's desperate for approval

I like this too.

at the start of the movie, Leto's character tells her that she's the best of all the angels he created. she's referencing that.

>I'm so confused, did I miss something?
The original story outline had the protagonist in Luv's place

wait, she kissed tommy lee jones?

Women.

When they met she flirted with him, he rebuked her. Later she learned that he had a holographic fake gf. So she was jealous. He could've had her- Love- but instead chose a product, a fake- Joy. A woman scorned. That's the twist here- she represents that androids are capable of being jealous, petty and resentful. In a way she's more human than any other android.

Childhood is liking Joi, adulthood is realising Luv is the most logical choice.
