Can someone recommend a better movie than There Will Be Blood? Is there even such a thing? You might be able to find few movies that tie it, but better than? I don't think so.
Fanny and Alexander television cut.
I DRAINED YOUR BALLS, ELI, YOU BOY. I *TOLD* YOU I WOULD SLURP YOU UP
woah
What makes it so great?
There Will Be Cum
Daniel Day-Lewis is an actual genius btw. Impossible to name a movie where his acting wasn't at least great
I can't think of another movie where the more you watch it the better it gets everytime.
I liked There Will Be Blood too, but it isn't the best. Barry Lyndon, Eyes Wide Shut, Godfather 2 , Apocalypse Now etc. are all better. It's still pretty great though.

CAN I BUILD AROUND 100 MILES OF TEHACHAPI MOUNTAINS?

It's a great movie with great acting, but I just didn't get it. So he's an immoral oil man in conflict with a rat fuck pastor, and errrrr what
i unironically don't think there is. maybe 'come and see' is the only one i can think of.
keked and checked
I wish there was another comfy kino masterpiece like this one i could watch repeatedly without getting tired of it but alas it doesn't exist

Draaaaaaaaaaaaain gang
the master is the only one that comes close to be honest. obviously it's no there will be blood, but what is.
if you like books i recommend the novels of fyodor dostoyevsky, they capture the same vibe with epic extremely affecting plots and genius, exceptionally vivid characters
daniel... i'm your friend. i never tried to hurt you, ever ... just survive
What are some historically accurate 17th and 18th century kino?
draaaaainnn gaaaanggggg
I understand what you mean. I remember the first time I watched it I was left wondering what it was all about, yet I was intrigued enough to keep thinking about it months later. About two years later I watched it again and liked it even more. It's a movie about so little, yet also so much. It's a straight-to-the-point film. I love the simplicity of it, yet it still manages to grasp you. The movie has no twists, no turns. It's just the story of a man who wants to acquire as much wealth as possible and see his enemies suffer by doing so. He's not a likable fellow, he's not supposed to be. He's a complex character in a simple movie on the surface but complex when you start thinking about it and breaking it down. And the fact there's only four main characters in the entire movie, and no women, yet still able to grab you is unique and a feat in itself.
DON'T BULLY ME DANIEL
I enjoyed the master, but it didn't blow me away and it didn't leave a lasting impact at all.
I had a closer feeling with Phantom Thread, except it offers a completely different frame of mind when watching
something about DDL is just ultimately comfy and high quality and lasting
also I've read a lot of dostoyevsky, friend. Mostly his short stories and novellas. Great stuff
I'M OLDER THAN YOU, I'M SMARTER THAN YOU
