tell me which one is supposed to be good so i could shit on it
>pink filter instead of yellow filter
>good
The one that wasn't put through the piss filter
Left
When all of this is over we should herd color graders into a room and spray bleach into their eyes
I honestly think you guys don't know what color grading is even for
I like the one on the right
you like the one Christopher Nolan didn't want.
Didn’t you make this same thread for LaLa land? Also iv never seen this movie I have no clue which is real and which is edited m.
This has to be done kind of a meme where he knows he's making those movies look worse
>Someone was paid to add a piss filter over a movie
>someone was huffing their own farts thinking they were an auteur and a craftsman pissing all over the shot.
Shit I thought it was my shitty tv haha
>Van Hoytema says Nolan wanted to do as much as possible in-camera, both for the sake of realism and also to maintain the look of the film. He explains that digital effects (created at Double Negative) were “scanned into the computer and then filmed out to film. But with that process, you will not sustain the quality of the original Imax negative.” They also chose to skip the digital color grading (digital intermediate) process and instead do only lab color timing for the film version. For the digital deliverables, van Hoytema says they graded to emulate as close as possible the film version.

tl:dr only the bluray looks like that literally made to be experienced in a cinema, not in a soi Netflix home
>'fixed' version
>sky is purple
I know you just discovered photoshop and are very excited to show everyone what a pro tone mapper you are, but please stop. pushing it too far red does not fix it being too far green.
>hoyte van hoytema
>capable of not urinating on his lens
Absolutely, positively, undoubtedly choose one!
Brown colors and piss filters, that's what he likes.
This is more like it. Good job OP.

>using a pirated rip of a 4K blu-ray that isn't going through the player's onboard HDR processing
complaining about piss-filter on 4k movies and complaining that shows are too dark is the instant giveaway that none of you fags pay for shit
Dunkirk in theaters didn't have any digital grading at all
suck it yifycucks
I don't remember it looking that yellow
I don't remember it looking like mexico in the cinema, it looked like the one on the right
The one on the left looks like it was shot in a submarine.
Both sucks. Left is too yellow, right is too purple. The guy who regraded this didn't remove the yellow, he just traded one filter for another.
It's cool that you're getting into color grading and image manipulation user but please drop the attitude of superiority to industry professionals and please don't make two identical threads at once.
Never watched Dunkirk or 1917. Which one should I watch first?
watch Saving Private Ryan for the 9999th time
It looked miles better than any other movie released in the last 10 years so who cares
make me
made the mistake of watching Dunkirk and you really should avoid them both. They're pompous NPC feed, war movies are dead.
