Well to be fair "processed" is a vague term. A more accurate way to put it is "have a lot of additional things added, many of which have zero nutritional benefit and actually can harm you if you eat them often enough". It's just not as catchy.

So when you're talking about highly processed meat, it has a bunch of preservatives and fillers that range from "it probably is fine" to "we have evidence this increases cancer rates". People who eat a lot of processed meats show up again and again in long-term studies as having more cancer than those who don't eat a lot.

And yes, it does have a lot of salt, and eating a high salt diet can make you feel and look like shit because it causes water retention and can lead to dehydration if you aren't pounding water all day.

Last time I went to a cinepolis was to see the lighthouse, my buddy snuck a Coke and a fifth of rum in his jacket and we were getting drunk with the characters, as soon as the credits rolled we ran through the entrance to avoid going the long way out, I was laughing and holding my shorts as we ran from El Roberto, that was my last movie visit before covid 19
