i tried to get both my ex-gf and my current gf to watch this movie with me. They both adamantly refused, even though they had never seen it or knew anything about it. Their reaction was surprisingly strong, it's like embedded in female dna to not want to watch predator.

My wife loved Predator, now we watch all Arnie movies over time

my friend's mom watched this of her own accord so i thought it was a girl movie for a long time. when i got old enough i realized she just schlicked it to russel crowe. same with my dad's girlfriend and gangs of new york (there's a shitty forced love plot in there and it's the only bad mark on an otherwise great movie).
