This is on Amazon Prime and I've been meaning to rewatch it for awhile now. Fuck, I should get to that.

Such an atmospheric movie.

That must explain all the Descent threads lately.

Juno did literally nothing wrong. But the actress got blackballed from Hollywood for turning down Big Harvey. That explains why we never saw her in anything else.

i watched the hole and the bar this week
love those one room type films
need more

This flows right into its sequel, expertly. Watch the two movies back to back. Descent 1 and 2 are a power duo and great for group watchings with buddies.

The ending with her still trapped in the cave and the flare going out is kino. I think they changed it for American audiences.

This movie asks the important question; why the fuck would anyone go into a cave?

Didn't this come out only 14 years ago?
Part 2 is dogshit do not listen to this person
They did, they cut it about 30 seconds earlier after she sees the ghost.

Why do people like this movie so much? The goofy ass falmer were more comical than scary

Exactly my point

It's well shot and plays on primordial fears such as complete darkness and confined spaces.

The monster sequences were supposed to be ridiculous and exaggerated for effect, to juxtapose with the grounded horror of the first half.

You mean to tell me that I've been "meaning" to watch this for 16 years??

Girls soak their panties at that one main jump scare, it's date movie kino

I watched 28 Days Later for the first time recently. Decent movie.

D2 is pretty bad

are there any horror movies more kino that 80s Italian horror? now they knew how to set a scene!

more proof, the classic Suspiria

It's a decent flick with some neat looking shots, but the sequel was straight to dvd garbage.

The claustrophobia is real in the movie. I suffer from it and its the only movie thats ever made me feel truly claustrophobic.

They never made a sequel you tard

Not everyone can be obsessed with ginger snaps garbage

don't listen to these dudes, sequel is pure kino

They had to dumb it down and make an ending that your average mouth breather could understand. Lord forbid you can think about what you watched.

The Beyond is a classic too

Stagefright Aquarius has one of my favorite killer designs of any horror

Opera is vastly underrated

and last but not least Inferno. I know these are all basic, well known Italian horror, but they're classics for a reason!

>Juno
was that the home wrecker ?

Yeah the asian one

>all female cast
>never feels forced or obnoxiously feminist

I don't know they pulled it off, but they did
Same with Annihilation

>But the actress got blackballed from Hollywood for turning down Big Harvey. That explains why we never saw her in anything else.
That sucks, I liked her in this movie.
