Well, I love the episode. Other than the Greyjoy/Bolton subplot, season 4 is actually my favorite.

I'm glad that retard halfthor wasn't able to make this into a career

Oh shit meta-mogged

Go to bed Eddie, you fat bitch.

Kinda sucked that they just portrayed Gregor as a dumb charging bull. The Mountain was definitely not a man of finesse but he wasn't a complete idiot either.

That's exactly what he is though. He was always portrayed as a thick cunt in the books.

They don't give him much dialogue or screen time. He probably should have been more prominent in season 2. But then again that means you have to see the dude in the middle as the Mountain because for some reason the first dude quit and they only find Bjornsson for season 4.

Why?
This fight was dog shit.

best thing about the show were all the armors

He was average as a fighter and useless as a tactician. His only advantages in the book and show is his size - someone that big in full plate armor is literally indestructible unless you can somehow knock him down or penetrate his armor before he gets close enough to you. In real life not even sword/spear masters like Jaime would be able to beat Gregor, his size just counts for too much.

This

He was a vicious brute. In the books hes described as being around 8ft and wields a 6ft Sword in one hand and can hack off a horses head with a single swing. He can also cut men in half with a single swing. The viper studied him and kept his distance with a long poisoned staff and was nicking away at him while the poison set in. Other than that, in a straight up sword fight there probably wasnt anyone alive at the time that could actually beat him.

There is one: his brother Sandor. Even in the books when Gregor spergs out over Loras cheating, The Hound is able to go toe to toe.

That’s literally what he did in the books, the crowd shouting and yelling enraged him (he had piercing headaches his entire life due to his gigantism). He was basically just charging down oberyn since he was always out of reach, and cut one of the onlookers in half in the process

If that's a halfthor, then just how big is a whole one?

it wouldnt have lasted long.

He was too perfect. Apparently he was a huge asshole irl and ended up being fired. I read his blog from before GOT and he was crying about the fact the only roles he could get in asian cinema was as a dumb bad guy.

that was always dabids problem, they were like children
>waaa actors are prima donnas, fire them
they did it over and over, sidelined and killed characters because they didn't get on with the actor, its the most juvenile shit

The original actor for Gregor took on the role in the Hobbit movies so he didnt come back for GoT

true

he didn't come back because they recast him

Go to bed Lindy

>We lost Conan Stevens to the Hobbit, and those kikes replaced him with CGI, so it was all for nothing
Fucking horseshit, Thor carried the torch well considering he had never acted before.

Was it kino?
