How the fuck didn't he die

He wasn't exposed as much, everyone who died either went directly into the reactor room or spent hours wading through radioactive water. Also luck.

It's was only 3.6R

he got lucky, radiation exposure effects everyone differently and he was shielded from the initial blast because he was in a different part of the complex

He was on the toilet.

He did but later in 1995. Same with Scherbina too, they all died years after Chernobyl.

not great, not terrible

too based for the radiation to handle

the power of believing your own bullshit

his power of denial was so strong it actually warped reality around him

those guys that went in the water are still alive today

the real life guy was pretty much immune to radiation, he had already received a lethal dose of radiation working on nuclear submarines before going to work in chernobyl

ane?

Evil is more difficult to be killed

Them divers are still alive. Plus the guy that held the door shut survived until his 70’s I think.

They should have sent him in to clean up his mess

> The series doesn't show how jaded was this guy after he unknowingly killed his baby son from radiation poisoning after getting irradiated himself while working on a faulty soviet nuclear submarine.

That would make the series SSS tier kino.

because the core didn't explote, your'e probaly delusional

die of what? the reactor didn't explode

vitamin C from semen

he means the guys who went to the basement to try to open the coolant valves to the reactor. they were walking through radioactive water. one of their faces melted off iirc and they both died

Except he was exposed a lot, he was walking around to check the damage and find out what went wrong, he got irradiated so badly he collapsed before he could go to the roof. He got more than half the lethal dose if I remember correctly

I also liked how it it avoided going into how the KGB literally murdered people and erased all record of their existence for “spreading state secrets.”

he did in like what... '95 of radiation related problems?

he became delusional

>owns a mac
he really should be reported

He got a LD50/30 dose.
Lethal Dose in 50% of cases with 30 days of exposure.

*Within 30 days of exposure I should say.

It’s sad for the agents who followed Legasov. They got irradiated without knowing. Sad

Well that's not great but it's not horrifying

He died of a radiation related illness years later
