I had no idea what it was about going in so it was confusing in the beginning , but once you get what they are going for it was enjoyable.

I couldn't get into it. It's just Pendleton Ward animating around yet another shitty podcast about drugs and psychedelics.

Not that user, but it's just a bunch of podcast episodes that are animated. The main character is a "spacecaster", who travels to different planets and records their conversations with different people.

The audio and visual are not fully connected. It’s just an interview of sorts with bits of world building in between.
I think they are trying to explore different world views and ways of thinking to a wide audience through animation

its from Pendleton Ward, creator of adventure time. you can judge it by the art style but he basically did it first with adventure time, except this time its much more adult.

This whole show is just discussions, podcast style, with animations done over it. Its actually pretty good animation.

i would agree with you, but this is pendleton ward's cartoon, so he does it much better and is one of the originals. in fact, it should be called the pendleton ward style and not Cal Arts.
