I wanted to hear the origin of the "myeah you'll never get me coppers, myeah!" accent, so I watched Little Caesar.
I would never have guessed in a million years that it would be a movie about friendship.
It's literally like a love story except the focus isn't romantic love but rather the friendly love between two dudes.
This could NOT have been done today. If they remade it they'd shoehorn in 100% unambiguous gay overtones.
And of course Edward G Robinson chews the scenery like no other.
Little Caesar is fucking based
Probably Jurassic Park. Older movies are slow as fuck.
Unironically this, it's as if Saving Private Ryan was made in 1945
Stagecoach and other late 30s movies
The General, Docks of New York, Greed i tried but it was too long and it wasnt into my liking, ill try Foolish Wives next
Faust 1926
The Great Train Robbery.
The Public Enemy 1931
I used to be totally into the Marx Brothers. But now I think they're just dumb.
Germany Year Zero 1948
Die Nibelungen
>Docks of New York
That was a good one
Fellowship of the ring (2001)
Die Feuerzangenbowle 1944

This. It's a fantastic film.
Bringing Up Baby (1938)
Le Voyage dans la Lune (1902)
The oldest film you enjoy is an entry level movie from 1957?
