le lumier de sant onore

Comedies 2015-2020

Your favorite movie

2001

Red Dawn maybe.
Any move that says there are good guys and bad guys and we're the good guys is pretty shallow intellectually.

L'ascension du chevalier noire

endgame and marvelshit in general

Avengers Endgame

So any movie set in WW2?

Inception

these

i wouldn't say the most npc, but in the mid 00s the bondock saints was becoming kind of a cult movie, but it was only becoming a cult movie to certain types of guys, frat bro types. i don't know why that happened but every time i met one of those meatheads they always loved that movie

Yeah except ones like Hell in the Pacific, Das Boot and Jojo Rabbit.

>Picking someone elses choice that has no intellectual justification behind it.
Found the NPC

NPC is not the same thing as low IQ.

F&F

Fast and Furious franchise

This is actually a pretty interesting question, but I think it better helps to define what we're calling NPC. When I think 'NPC' I think of midwits who are obsessed with enforcing institutional narratives and norms. Imagine the kind of people who obsessively cited health organizations in February and March, claiming that the coronavirus wasn't a threat because the flu at that time had killed more people and that face masks don't work.

You guys don't get it. Fun entertainment isn't NPC. Truly NPC media convinces you of something you already believe.

Scott Pilgrim

any capeshit
*you're

>fun entertainment
This poster is an NPC

Django Unchained

capeshit is the only real answer
F&F and Transformers are dumb but they don't pretend not to be dumb. A lot of people who like capeshit think they actually get life lessons on morality out of it, these are true NPCs

Movie 43.
It's the only true answer to your question. It's the kind of movie actual NPCs would make. There's no spark of human creativity. The script may as well have been created by a computer. If you need an example of a movie by NPCs for NPCs then you've got it.

ive not seen them but the avengers stuff. it seems like a conveyor belt of shite. all of those types of films are pushed out like 10 times a year, one after the other and people just eat them up. theyre devoid of anything remotely interesting yet people actually follow and enjoy them

Crash

>Capeshit and Transformers marketed almost exclusively with chinks in mind
>China is a nation of NPCs
The only correct answer

>acts hostile when shown things he disagrees with.
Case in point
