Just started watching sopranos for the first time and im on season 3 some great episodes so far , but piss poor directing and tons of missed opportunity and dropped plot threads. The big pussy stuff really ruined the second season for me, why do they pick and choose randomly when he was supposed to wear a wire, tonys onto him but they do nothing to build up the suspense even when Pussy should have known (the boat, the bathroom of his house) the dropped and picked up randomly wire tap shit is annoying too, like episodes at a time with no mention and we are to assume hes said nothing incriminating on it? Then meadow takes the lamp with the bug, when all of a sudden they remember they needed to do something about that? Tonys a smart gangsta and he knoes the fbi is hard on him and following him yet he doesnt think to check for wiretaps? He also continues getting his hands dirty right after the FBI raids his house. To top all this shit off im like 6 episodes into season 3 and not a fucking person has said a word about big pussy since he died. The dude was an uncle to the kids, his wife was complaining about jim nonstop, he had kids, they all knew he went off with tony to get a boat, what in the fuck? Im not looking forward to more messy seasons of this shit. (Yes tony is great and the acting is top notch, i love paulie walnuts, i could do without chris and his disgusting smokey gf) but best of all time? Come on....

As far as TV goes yes most of the best came out in the last 20 years

It definitely gets my attention, ill watch entire episodes without looking away. I just cant forgive the dropping and ignoring of common sense plot threads.
Janice is the absolute worst character in history. She nakes my fucking skin crawl, shes an old haggard bitch with a titty tattoo acting like a young hippie chick. Yuck. The mother was AWFUL. Thank god she died. Another season of checking in on her and id tap out in season 3 early. Carmela is mostly annoying, she knows her place, but shes definitely up there with Skylar levels of cunty tv wife.

You arent supposed to like anyone in the show, 90% of them are murderers, gamblers, criminals and enablers. So what? I enjoy Tony and Paulies characters, i wouldnt want to be around any of them in real life but if you held a gun to my head id pick janice dead last.

Janice was my most hated character for a while, then she became less annoying and AJ took over.
