That was a phenomenally disappointing season finale even for BCS standards. Everything was just setting up for the final season.

As a native spanish speaker, the fact that a majority of yhe episode took place in Mexico with all the poorly spoken spanish does not help.

Saul spending literally the whole episode inside the hotel was such a bad choice, imagine the titular character doing absolutely nothing given his current situation. Kim not only did more this whole season but she also had a character arc in the last episode completely outshining Saul in the process.

Lalo is a joy to watch but I have no idea why he’s not skeptical about Nacho especially by how quiet and awkward he acts around him.

dont know which spanish speaking country youre from

but the way those cartel mobsters behave reminds me of Andalusians. the swearing and the theatrics like theyre still in puberty.
Are they actually like that? Do regular mexicans or latinos act like that?

As someone who learned enough Chinese to know, it is really bad when American actors try to speak Mandarin.
The serious face acting combined with the ridiculous dialogue.

>Saul spending literally the whole episode inside the hotel

He went to visit Mike remember?

Thats why I hated whenever they tried to speak Mandarin in Firefly, "randomly speaking chinese words because future" and then the actors struggling to get it out while the scene grinds to a halt

Test

>As a native spanish speaker, the fact that a majority of yhe episode took place in Mexico with all the poorly spoken spanish does not help.
shows in general should just dub if the actors cant speak a certain language for shit
they did this for the two popes movie and it turned out pretty decently

Got a bad feeling about Nacho bros.

Why did he look so weird in this episode? Like his face was 100x more wrinkly or something

>poorly spoken spanish
by whom? Aren't the only american actors who speak spanish for the show Hector and Gus? Mando is a native speaker and so is Dalton, who was speaking bad spanish?

>the way those cartel mobsters behave reminds me of Andalusians
no fucking way, the mobsters have some work to do sometimes, which is something unthinkable for an Ansalusian

>andalusians

literally no spanish, either from Spain or Latin America acts, speaks or behaves that way. all the "spanish" characters in Saul or Breaking Bad are horrendous and speak terrible spanish

>As a native spanish speaker, the fact that a majority of yhe episode took place in Mexico with all the poorly spoken spanish does not help.
You are now aware what it's like to listen to Americans speak "English".

>speak terrible spanish
What do you mean by this though? Nacho and Lalo are both native speakers, so are Eladio and Bolsa and the minor characters

>Mando is a native speaker
lol
pro tip: tuco also speaks like shit

Tuco, Gus and Hector learn spanish lines for the show, Mando doesn't

Pues no se amigo, seran todo lo nativos que quieras, pero su "acento" español suena rarisimo, yo no he escuchado a nadie hablar así en mi vida

I would say that Mando's spanish is worse than Tuco. A big problem is that whenever he speaks spanish he goes super quiet, like he is ashamed of speaking it knowing he is not very good at it

Of course low iq shitskins can't appreciate a thinking man's show. Go back and watch Narcos if you want action faggot

Nothing's wrong with their castellano. They sound colombian, the best speakers. Are you chilean?

Lalo speaks perfect Spanish. Bolsa does too, if anything the writing makes their dialogue and the way they phrase things weird.

I doubt that's anyone's fault other than the translators, though. Or maybe they're appealing to the disgusting chicano filth who barely speak any Spanish so they "sort of" understand what everyone is saying because it's very literal. But to a native, it sounds off.

In what world are colombians the best speakers? They have that venezuelan/PR flow. You could make that case for peruvians or some mexicans.

Colombians sound like trash. Argentinian is the only decent Spanish speaking accent.

And you were a phenomenally disappointing finale to your mothers pregnancy, but that's life.

shut the fuck up, spic, cholo, wetback, greaseball, beaner

>why he’s not skeptical about Nacho especially by how quiet and awkward he acts around him
he's too busy trying to hit that that he thinks nacho is just playing hard to get

MANDO IS A FRENCHIE LEAF
where did you get it from that he's a native speaker?

They don't sound Colombian at all. Are you fucking deaf?

Thank god I don't speak spanish. The german scenes in BB were absolutely horrible.

This was my favorite season but the finale was pretty weak

You guys clearly have no idea what they're talking about.

You're*

Hate to say it because I love Kim, but honestly she's becoming ridiculous now. In every situation Saul is an emasculated pussy and Kim is the one who knows what she's doing. They're falling into the writing trap of making the female character stronk by contrast with a weak male, despite her stellar writing up to this point. That they're gunning to make her the brains of the Saul outfit and setting Saul up to be her grunt is just stupid. Don't get me wrong, Saul was always a pussy. But he also actually had a character and balls when he needed them. Right now he's just moping around doing fuck all and being strung along by Kim in these weirdly forced sex scenes mimicking Daenerys and Drogo. And honestly it's not even about character arc any more, we're 5 seasons in, it's the final season next time.

You are clearly a Colombian chicano diasporafag from Miami or some shit. Colombians talk like trash.

This episode was weak af, was it really the season finale? Lalo surviving that "professional hit squad" was lame.

It was brilliant. Lalo survived because he is a king

Which character sounds Colombian according to you? French-Canadian Nacho, Mexican Lalo or Cuban Eladio?

I'm french living in Chile and I went all over south america. I learnt spanish on my own. From my pov, best are colombians, equatorians and venezualians. Worst are chileans and argentinians. Bolivia and peru are above average.
