Old Republic was set almost 4000 years before the prequels, High Republic is set only 400 years before the prequels.

Dave's orange-buttcheeks waifu will become a regular character. Beyond that, now that Disney has seen how popular the show is with the hated WHITE MALE demographic, they'll be tripping over themselves to remove "problematic" elements (the things that made the show popular with viewers) and add more "inclusive" elements (the things that made Episode 9 such a success).

Disney's version of the Old Republic setting. They're currently producing a glut of novels, comics, etc. to build up the setting prior to making it the center of the next movie trilogy.
