It's the same in Europe, HIstory lessons all revolve around WW2 and the holocaust. t's like nothing happened before or after. You have to brainwash the kids to think jews are eternal victims when they are right now oppressing the world.

Not that user, but I went to a private school and those things were barely brushed over. History wasn't entirely the holocaust though, it was mostly American and Western European history exclusively. China, India, etc might as well not have existed until whites came in contact with them as far as my history courses were concerned.

We spent like 2 days on the holocaust and I went to school on NYC

you forgot to mention that yr 12 history not compulsory and you pick your own subjects from year 10 onwards so basically everything that you are required to learn is only until year 10. including mathematics. so if you don't choose history, geography, etc for year 11 and 12 you won't be learning anything important at all

Not him but my school was regarded as a one of the better schools in a suburb near Philadelphia. My american experience teacher talked about how great Israel is and how they're our greatest ally multiple times. We never learned about 1812, Spanish-American, American-Philippine war, WW1,Korea, 80's/90's conflicts. We talked almost entirely about the civil war and ww2. For 6 months 1.5 classes a day.

Napolean was arguably the most important historical figure and he was never mentioned once in school
