Does it get better second time viewing? Thinking about rewatching it for the first time, finished it about 6 years ago.

It never gets old, don't remember what my second time watching was like I just looked at a bunch of clips between the first and the second viewing and just thought "ah fuck it I'll just rewatch it again"

I'm rewatching it, on season 4. Silvio Dante has to be the most useless character of the entire show.

It doesn't need to end but I hope you watch other kinos too like The Wire or Deadwood (or The Knick)

I started watching the Wire after trying to find something to fill the Sopranos void. I’m halfway through season 4 and it is not even close to the same level of quality. I definitely think it’s a good show, even great, but it’s no kino.

barely got through it once. cant remember a single fucking plotline apart from the gay guy running off to live with a fireman. all the characters are horrible people and treat eachother like shit. its just trashy tropey guido shit. i don't get it.

it ends when you rewatch it so many times you forget how many exactly you completed between stopping at random parts of watching individual episodes/seasons and just generally losing track of your view counts
and then one day you wake up and realize that even though you don't want to move on, you just can't watch another scene

He's Tony's consigliere and gives him zero actionable advice, just nods his head while grimacing and making platitudes. His only real scene in the entire series is when he screams his head off about wanting cheese at his feet.

I love that show. It's one of the few shows where a single (film) director directs every episode himself. It looks great and the OST is great, but very unconventional for a historical drama. And Clive Owen is based.
It's also only two seasons
