>Belle refuses to change Gaston for the better
>instead she decides to change Beast, an actual animal
???
Belle refuses to change Gaston for the better
Most people can't change and are stuck in their ways.
>she decides
she was literally held hostage
Because the chad white male needs to change, but not the literal nigger. And women are whores. Whores of Babylon.
Beast was also a white male. A blond rich white male at that.
Blondes look ridiculous and weak.
Blonds are the only actual whites. If you're not blond you've probably got some African or Asian admixture. So go fuck off nigger.
Top kek. Go wash your crossdresser pride knee socks, baby boy blue.
Something something humans worse than animals because something
she didn't like him so why should she bother?
t. Mutt
Why would she not like him, he's a literal Chad and treated her much better than the Beast who wanted to keep and eat her father
Seems like the only real advantage the Beast had was being rich
>horrible, hostile beast that imprisoned her father and held her hostage is the good guy
>the wh*te male that goes out of his way to save you is the villain and gets no similar sympathy
??????????????????????????
Beauty and the Beast is merely an exercise in pandering to female vanity.
>Belle
>has an incredibly high opinion of herself
>does nothing, is the 17th century version of a neet who sits around their parents' house playing video games (reading storybooks), is center of attention only because she's beautiful, something she had to do no work for, believes she's too good not only for Gaston but the little town she lives in
>everyone must cater to her because she is beautiful and the Beast will fall in love with her because of this, she'll be handed a life as a princess for absolutely nothing and this is portrayed as good and just, catering to female vanity of deserving something for nothing
>Gaston
>has an incredibly high opinion of himself
>his the protector of the town, strong, skilled, brings value to the townspeople through hard work, is genuinely loved by all of them not only because he's handsome and strong, but because he contributes to their society
>is portrayed as the villain for wanting to do what he does, protect the villain and kill the wild beast that has thus far kidnapped two of the villagers
In any sensible story, Gaston is the protagonist with a recognized character flaw of vanity, but in this story, Belle is the protagonist and her character flaw of vanity goes completely unspoken and unacknowledged. Instead of going with the man who is a productive member of society and curbing his arrogant tendencies, she goes with the man who is rich and royal despite his abusive behaviour, because through the power of her female beauty and charm she can change him into her perfect prince.
This is the story that we show to little girls.
Gaston is only a big fish in a small pond, the Beast is a literal noblemen, basically peak of society.
seething
>this is your brain on Yas Forums
>This is the story that we show to little girls.
And they still turn 18 and go for Gaston.
>Gaston is only a big fish in a small pond
Is he? He fought hand-to-hand with the beast who fought off 20 wolves. Gaston is a beast.
>Seems like the only real advantage the Beast had was being rich
You'll find it's the greatest advantage.
Belle is from Paris, she probably consider Gaston a country bumpkin
No, they turn 14 and go for Beast, the 18 year old drug dealer who abuses them but they think they can change him.
>megachad gaston meh
>gigachad beast interdasting
>tradstacey belle gib drama
maybe the lesbian shit disney are going for can be better than this if they capture the right scenes but sadly it feels like it's more of the same.
lmao
That's pretty much every comment on an animal video
Amazing, isn't it?
don't you know, women are supremely oppressed
don't you know, woman is always ready to offer herself as sacrifice so long as they are saved by the plot
don't you know, women are supremely capable when not supremely oppressed
The moral of the story is that it doesn't matter how much of a monster you are, if you have a castle bitches will do anything for you.
I especially love the part where Gaston is made to be a villain for wanting to protect his town from a beastly animal that kidnaps people. Good is bad, bad is good.
*a giant ass library
That was the only reason Belle was with Beast
AHHHHH A MINORITY I'M GOING INSAAAAAAAAANEEEEEEEEE
Given that it's set in the 7th century, a giant ass library probably cost significantly less than the castle, so the point stands. Be rich.
Same as Tarzan. Both Beast and Tarzan are technically white, yet they are also untamed and savage much like a nigger. Its no coincidence Disney decided to adapt this story in the 90s.
Well, yeah. The Beast kidnapped her.
Bitches love being kidnapped.
Did Disney steal the plot from Pride and Prejudice?
>a bookworm woman refuses an offer of marriage from what she considers to be an undesirable candidate
>another (near) nobility offers her but she refuses him until he changes for the better
Only Disney forgot that their Elizabeth Bennet had a lesson to learn, too. Belle has nearly zero character development.
17th century you mean
