Just how did this old bitch get herself involved with so many murder cases? You're lucky to be involved in a single murder in your lifetime, if you're not law enforcement. This bitch would trip over dead bodies wherever she went.

Does the average poster here remember this show?
She was nosy.
The same way Midsomer murders has twenty seasons in a backwater with thousand people.
That joke is as old as the show itself and I think they even referenced that a couple times.
If she didn't travel so much, the population of Cabot Cove would've been decimated by the third season.
I'm not average, but I remember
Based turkey looking nosy lady. All the old detective shows are maximum comfy.
>You're lucky to be involved
Nah, I think it would suck.
She’s the murderer and frames everyone
>murdershewrote
The 80's seasons were kino. By the 90s it was tired.
That season ender would have topped Mash. There's still time.
>Do you read Sutter Cane?
She wrote it into fruition.
For me, it's Hercule Poirot
lol
Considering the legal fees and court costs for sure.
>complained about being too old to continue acting in 1995
>still alive
>still acting
god damn
Watched as a kid with my parents. They liked columbo and would watch this sometimes as well.
kek i like that she basically friendzoned every male of Cabot Cove as well. That doctor was chasing her tail throughout as well as any boomer that rolled into town. Tons of guest stars too, Jonathan brandis, bill maher, Adam West...
Definitely user, I still occasionally put it on as it comes on hallmark mystery pretty much every night of the week. Some of the best ones don’t even have her in it. It’s her niece or real estate agent or some shit solving a murder.
I love mystery shows, I've seen a lot of them even obscure ones but this Murder She Wrote, Columbo, Morse and Midsomer Murders have gone under my radar. I will eventually watch them.
I just finished Queens of Mystery which is surprisingly well written, and now I'm making my way through Agatha Raisin, which (so far, season 1) has less satisfying mysteries but the main character makes up for it, she's hilarious.
watched it with my gma. Still watch it here and there today. pure comfy
I’ll check this out
I enjoy mostly anything with Angela Lansbury
So, Bedknobs and Broomsticks?
That was literally one of my favorite movies as a kid. I don't for the life of me get why Marry Poppins is more popular than Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
How about the original Manchurian Candidate?
I thought she did a good job in that one
Can we all agree that Murder She Wrote was just a worse version of the Margaret Rutherford Miss Marples?
Who wins in a battle of the minds, Lansbury or Poiroit?
Classic.
Does anyone have a good torrent of this show to share?
yes. intro music is audible kino
Of course today it would be
Murder, She Instagramed
I do. Started reruns agains 3 years go, sadly only lasted 9 months.
A Brit acting a Mutt. Based.
