I just watched "Penishandler Bye Bye "(1986) by Evan Schwaerzendick. I loved it it. It reminded me of Faggotstein's early works with a hint of Sneezenberger's Urinal trilogy (especially the second part, "Tragedy of Urine Cake," 1968)

Nice. Adding that to the watchlist. I presume it has gorgeous, dreamlike cinematography and an abundance of rich symoblism regarding overcoming the trauma of a urinal tract infection? Perhaps the criterion channel has it on hand. Isn't it wonderful to have this Louvre of cinema at our fingertips?

Is this the most KINO scene ever or what? Based Fass

finally Galloposting will be appropriate

>Early in his career, Villeneuve was heavily inspired by the French New Wave but he later switched to the science fiction genre for its great storytelling potential.

>"I began my career with Un 32 août sur Terre, a Quebecois film influenced by the French New Wave, but soon realized that this wasn't for me," Villeneuve said.

>"As soon as I accepted my North American roots and realized that I had to return to my first love, I was able to let go and I felt much happier. I'm definitely a very American filmmaker," he affirmed.

How I wish that more failed arthouse directors embraced their middlebrow sensibilities.

ITT: we try to communicate in French based only on the vocabulary we picked up from arthouse French films

Oh mon Dieu... Le cringé....

Basee et rougepillulee directeur homosexuelle d'Allemagne.

LEOS CARAX

est un cineaste tres cringé

Tu n'as rien vu à Hiroshima. Rien.

I just subscribed to the Criterion Channel and am basically a pleb of the highest order. What would you suggest checking out?

Those Cock'n'Balls are upside down!

What do I start with
Some will be rewatches, but don't take it into account
