>if it's slow and boring, it's good

Instant giveaway of a pseud

And all 3 overrated.

Jesse James was much less boring than There Will Be Blood

All 3 are kino

>timeless state about society

This sort of meme classification is only useful as a means of identifying authorial intent, not quality.
Flick: Made to appeal to base pleasure
Movie: Balance between appealing to base pleasure and intellect
Film: Made to be engaged with on a primarily intellectual level

This perfectly fits OP’s pic tho

>Jesse James
finally got around to watching this and it was okay but nothing special
got tricked by Yas Forums again ffs

Yes (you're based btw)

Flick: El hoyo
Movie: Ninja turtles (1990)
Film: Robocop (1987)

If you cant understand this, you are a plebeian of the most niggering levels.

>>timeless state about society
That's literally wrong. It's very particular to the new millenium as America departs from John Wayne to mobsters to rap to the current year. Stories about good guys don't make sense anymore which is something people started to realize 100 years ago with mechanized warfare.

It's literally bro I'm so high rn I just realized there's a difference between the delusions we tell ourselves and what's real. At least you only had to sit long enough to get hemorrhoids instead of having your limbs blown off when you figured it out.

Trash, kino, trash.

wrong
>Flick
Robocop 3
>Movie
Robocop
>Film
Robocop 2

>legendary stories started with John Wayne

You could have said Douglas Fairbanks you would still be wrong. Try Ulysses.

>aboo boo boo capitalism should be limited because dump poor people can be nice :'(

>Unforgiven
muh genre deconstruction cringe

>kino, trash, trash

Completely missed the point. Movies about heroes used to be important and now they're not.

Modern day "good" is equivalent to "law abiding". Those are not the movies people want to watch because they are conditioned to do it anyway.

all three are garbage, dishonest flicks

Murder Mystery
Knives Out
Clue?

JoJo Bunny, Downfall, Moloch

Kino

Barely even a deconstruction and it’s fairly tame in its revisionism and more of a response to Eastwood’s Spaghetti years. The only issue is that Leone far surpassed Eastwood with Once Upon a Time in the West as a response to their earlier Westerns.
Anyways, Mann’s Man of the West is the superior Western about the struggles of redemption, violence, and trauma.

The Big Short
The Wolf of Wall Street
Margin Call

>make a film about a legendary wild west figure
>cover his last few weeks where he is a brooding wimp

Bohemian Rhapsody
Crazy Heart
Inside Llewyn Davis

Once Upon a Time in the West
