For me, this genuinely is the comfiest show of all time (the original run).
I used to watch this on TV every single night as a kid. The 3D models of New New York with that iconic soundtrack immediately bring me back to cozy Friday nights eating pizza with my Dad after a long week at school. Back when I didn't have a care in the world and would laugh at Bender's crazy shenanigans.
So no, there never will be another show as comfy as classic Futurama, not for me at least.

Not Sure if comfiest show or just made during comfiest time period.

very doubtful

Trips proves why Futurama isn't comfy at all.

We can only hope. I don't think it's likely tho with Disney monopolizing the entertainment industry

>it’s a bender folk music episode
How could a show so great have such shitty episodes

Anybody else notice every Futurama episode ending is fucking terrible?

Absolute redditcore
This, Rick and Morty, and Steven universe are their holy trinity

Because season 6-7 got retarded writers....

Contrarian faggots (you) need to be strangled with their own intestines

Some of them are really satisfying. Like Godfellas for instance.

What would you guys say are the most comfy episodes

The movies made it so he wasn't alone all the time.

Futurama is so based. On one hand I would love to see more episodes, but on the other I know it would only get shittier and I should appreciate the finale.

I think Three Hundred Big Boys, Future Stock and Parasites Lost are all really comfy. And the one where Leela plays Blernsball.

I know im going to get shit for this but didnt the show kind of drop in quality around season 3 and 4 ? I know alot of people say it died with the movies and Comedy central era

I know you're upset but posting about it is only funnier for us.

I honestly don’t think so. Lots of really strong episodes right up until the movies, which are a major step down. And it’s funny how good the movies seem compared to what came after.

I'm pretty sure that is like season 2

Pop a Poppler in your mouth

1-5 are consistent, there are duds sure but they are few and far between, season 6 is probably the worst one since it has the majority of the bad episodes, it also had some standouts like prisoner of benda.
season 7 was a step up but it still lacked the charm of the earlier seasons.

One of the best writers, Eric Kaplan, got a full-time job on The Big Bang Theory of all things so he wasn’t available after the movies. I’m sure he got paid a ton but would rather have been working on Futurama.

Back when I had better process over my emotions this scene would make me tear up great episode.

how did the big bang theory stilll manage to be so bad? wtf??!?!?!

based: the character

Get hit in the face with a Sno Ball

Is bender the lisa of the show? But likable? I don't hate Bender as a side character, but every episode that revolves around him is shitty involving robot rights, or robot school or some shit
