Newfags think that all resentment against Tim & Eric ever is from MDE fans but the fact is Awesome Show was never good and basically ruined Adult Swim for a few years.
As an old school viewer I was a bit sour on Tom Goes to the Mayor when it came out but it could be funny and was only 11 minutes so I'd sit through it to get to Sealab or some anime.
But in 2007 suddenly we had a SECOND Tim and Eric show with less jokes and more airtime. AS stopped showing weeknight anime around this time which pissed me off since Inuyasha before bed was kino.
Little did I know that not only would I have to turn off the TV sundays for awesome show but Tim & Eric, being so cheap to make, opened the floodgates to a million more terrible live action shows:
Delocated, Children's Hospital, Neon Joe Werewolf Fucker, Eagleheart (the worst one imo), some news & cop parody shows.
Tim & Eric completely ruined Adult Swim and that has nothing to do with Sam Hyde.
I do like Joe Pera though, so at least AS found someone talented to do live action after 11 years, maybe now they can fire Tim & Eric.
